"Was a VA patient for years, in 2014 I had enough and decided to go private. Eventually landed here, use to be a great clinic. Once Salem Health took over, things just went down hill. Canceled appointments, sitting on hold forever just to be hung up on and have to call back, they make it to where I always run out of medication. The kicker, they fire my doctor and don't even notify the patients. No help with meds, no nothing. In fact they booked an appointment with her for me after she left..... still didn't tell me that eventually that appointment would be canceled. I've finally found medical thats worse thsn the VA Healthcare system, its right here in salem. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place Update Feb 2024: My last 3 appointments have been rescheduled at least 1 time each. Last appointment was initially sechduled in Nov 23 for Feb 24. Two days before my appointment it was rescheduled. How the hell are people supposed to get care when you can never get into see your physician? Kind of at a loss at this point. The state needs to get involved to solve these issues. Progressively worse and worse as time goes on."
"Disregard the bad comments. This place is phenomenal! I've gotten judged based on my background by every facility and physician and let me tell you... Skylines office doesn't judge a book by it's cover. I love this place. They actually make me want to seek help from them based on how they treat me. Ps. Nurse Lindsey is the best!"
"Have permission to advocate on behalf of my mother. She also was turned out after losing a great physician here - no notice and back to being a "new" patient. The LNP is great - if you can get an appointment. Medication is not refilled on time. Staff does not respond to elderly patient concerns in a timely manner. LNP's assistant told me that the LNP is "too busy" to call me back - fine - but her assistant did not follow through and do what she assured - which was to contact patient about medication and refill another medication. It is a black hole when leaving a message and you get passed around and ultimately ignored. It takes AT LEAST 3 calls by both my mother and myself - that's 6 total - to move anyone to do their job. The folks answering the phone have no power to help - they ask repeatedly what the symptoms are and then no one picks up the ball. It doesn't breed confidence and seems to border on unethical. This system is broken. Also - if your staffing problems are this bad - it's not your patients' job to carry your water. Fix it - and stop making that excuse. You have reviews going back 3 and 4 years saying the same things. It doesn't appear that your patients are the priority."
"The staff at this location is always friendly and helpful. They are great at helping you out of you have questions or clarifying questions you might have. I really like my doctor but sometimes it's hard to see him on short notice because he's popular with a lot of other people as well."
"I have had a wonderful physician for years at the Skyline clinic, the best I've ever had. I was not informed directly but heard this through the grapevine. This was confirmed when I called the clinic. I was told she is no longer associated with this clinic. This was confirmed when I called. Why wasn't I contacted? I have a scheduled appointment coming up. Sloppy, sloppy! I know she has been fired because I saw her last week and she was looking forward to my next scheduled appointment. I am left at age 84 with health issues and NO physician. I have been informed that no one in that clinic is taking new patients and I am officially a "new" patient now, turned out to fend for myself. I considered my physician to be highly qualified. She solved a problem that several specialists couldn't. I am in awe of her knowledge. I am LIVID!!!!!!"
