"Honestly, this place is a joke. I originally asked for acupuncture & a psychiatrist. I dbl checked that the acupuncturist would put needles in my back. He declined at the visit & said he uses the Chinese map & put the needles in my arm. That was oct. The office put in a request for me to see the psychiatrist. Month goes by, no words. I called, and they said they'll put in another word, nothing. I canceled my next acupuncture appointment. They finally called me back and gave me an appointment date for mid-January. I scheduled the time off & of course, the day of the appointment they canceled. This place shouldn't offer mental help when they make it worse ."
"I love this practice. I have never been treated so well by a physicians office before. Lacey truly cares about you and your needs. She treats all of our family and we are finally getting the traction we've needed in care. Every member of the staff I've interacted with has even phenomenal."
"I am greatly upset with OIH. I started the process for my husband and I to become a new patients in JANUARY. After waiting many, many months for an appointment, and diligently submitting all the paperwork they asked for, we had one scheduled for 10/4 (two days away). Unfortunately, over this past weekend, my husband developed a rash that we feel may be shingles, but we are not sure. So, to be responsible, I called the clinic to notify them. I was told that because we were not actual patients with them yet, they would not see us on the 4th as planned!!! But, I argued, we already had the appointments and my husband needs medical attention! We were told to go to the walk in clinic at Peacehealth. Well, I was absolutely stunned at their response! So in a moment of pure frustration over every hoop they've had us jump through and every month we have waited, I told them that I have ZERO wish to have any sort of relationship with their office. I really just cannot believe a medical office would treat someone in need of medical care this way! We were TWO DAYS away from being patients! THIS SEEMS LIKE BAD MEDICINE. Bad, bad, bad. Happily, this may be a blessing. We have chosen to sign on with Siuslaw Medical Clinic and take advantage of the concierge medicine they offer there. We need personalized attention, and my gut does not feel we would have gotten the care we need at OIH. I mean, read these reviews! Some of them are highly concerning. Man, I think we've dodged a bullet here."
"As my health steadily declines I've wasted 8 months being seen here. Absolutely nothing was accomplished. I'm still waiting on a colonoscopy & endoscopy months away. None of my referrals have been successful. They keep telling me they're waiting on approval but yet I just got a letter stating that 1 was approved months ago & now its expired!!! None of the meds she said she was prescribing ever got ordered! Multiple times! This place may have killed me. I now have to start from scratch w/ a new unknown Primary when I find one. The closest is in Bandon an hour away & I don't drive anymore. Horrible experience. Never even been to Bandon."
"Excellent service! Admittedly, it’s challenging to first make contact directly with the Florence office due to their system-wide phone system, but it worth the temporary hassle. Once in, the service is excellent and timely. Lacey Mills, FNP, is knowledgeable, professional and truly listens. For the past 10 years, I have had several providers who rotated out at local hospital, and none of them managed my care. Now, I finally found a provider who does - Lacey even said it at the first visit. Also, it’s great that they have an in-house lab. No need to wait 30-60 minutes at the local hospital lab! And they have an on-site acupuncturist who is phenomenal."
