"I'm pretty disappointed to be writing this. Davies was my primary care clinic for the past 8 years. Hardly do I ever have to go, and my recent visit was the first since many major changes over the past couple of years. The office staff are excellent and always have been! All of Davies always has been, and was pretty great this time too. But, in a year that I hit my out-of-pocket maximum already for insurance, they failed to have time to listen to 2/3 physical health concerns I had and brushed off the 1/3 concerns they did listen to. In a year that it won't cost me anymore money to seek aggressive treatment. The total time with the doctor would've lasted less than 6 minutes total if he hadn't at least heard me out for one of the issues, and less than 1 minute of that 6 minutes would've been the actual exam that you pay for. It was quite a shock visiting Davies after the changes, because I always felt like the Dr's would at least have the time to listen. Maybe they're overbooked, or maybe it's the changes to the clinic, but the Dr service and quality of care took a sharp nosedive since I had previously visited."
"I made an appointment with the Davie’s clinic to establish care with a primary care physician. I have no health concerns and no scary family history. I wanted a PCP for any light sicknesses that travel around or annual flu shots. Very basic items. I had plans, assuming all went well, to make appointments for my other family members as well. I arrived at 9:44am. I had a 9:45am check-in time and a 10:00am appointment. After watching 6 other people get called back (after arriving later than me), I asked politely if maybe I had been forgotten about. The front desk gal (who was very kind), said that a nurse or MA would be with me shortly. I was finally called back at 10:20am. The unfriendly nurse did my intake and left the room at 10:24am, saying the PA would be in soon. The PA-C, Jesse Russel, came into the room at 10:36am. He very lightly and quickly apologized for being late – a gesture that did not feel genuine after being in the clinic for 52 minutes. I asked him how long he thought the process would take and he asked if I had a time constraint. I shared that I needed to leave by 10:45am to return to work. He said that 9 minutes would not be enough time and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I very calmly responded that I would not. He said ok and walked out of the room. I am flabbergasted at my wait time. I am appalled at the lack of care I was shown by the nurse and PA. I thought Jesse Russel would have been more caring and genuine. I guess I don’t know how I expected him to act when I shared I did not want to return to the clinic, but I would have expected more sincerity. We were clearly not a fit. I will not be returning to the Davie’s clinic and I do not recommend folks to use them for their care. The one star they get is for the very lovely front desk workers."
"I was just in there with my daughter (5years old) for a check up before she starts school and the doctor asked my daughter if she was a boy, girl or something else. I kept my composure but I can’t let this slide. My daughter is five and shouldn’t be asked if she’s something else, especially without having a conversation with me first. Absolutely stepping over the line and You’ve lost a patient"
"Love the front desk and nurses to death. Seriously so sweet. They are great with my boys but haven’t been the best with women health. Kayla which is dr brilles assistant is amazing she loves kids and is so sweet with my boys."
"I had been a patient of Davies Clinic for a couple years. I was told I couldn't return because of 3 no-shows. The staff was rude and blamed me for things that were Covid related and not no-shows. I always called early in the morning with my appointments being in the evenings. I never once just not showed up. Once I had to watch my grandson because his mother is an essential worker and got called in to her hospital. Next, I woke up feeling awful so called to cancel because they obviously didn't want me coming in just in case I had Covid. The last one had to do with a mandatory school district training, I am a teacher. The time of the training was moved and it involved protocols for reopening school. This past year has been hard enough without being dropped from your provider in the middle of a pandemic for reasons beyond my control that involved issues with Covid. They also accused me of not coming into the office for a year, when in fact I had a virtual appointment the spring after the shutdown. How I was expected to come in when everything was closed is beyond me. They also said I failed to get procedures done like a mammogram but everything was closed and with the pandemic I feared going to a hospital. The whole thing was unfair. I was seeing the nurse practitioner Joanna Anders who helped make this decision, which probably isn't a total loss because she was abrupt and really didn't listen very attentively to my concerns. She just rushed me out. I would not recommend this clinic because they chose their 3 missed appointments "policy" over compassion and understanding during a pandemic."
