"Dr miller is the best .repaired my spine gave me my life and mobility back .highly recomended"
"Saw Dr Burkert for the first time March 2024, and had a very positive meeting. My wait was short and I was not at all rushed as he listened to all concerns with ample time left for discussion. He’s extremely knowledgeable, friendly and competent. The woman at the front desk was very nice as was Dr Burkert’s nurse. I had the first of 2 diagnostic procedures 2 weeks later at the surgery center next door. He was running an hr behind schedule but once I was wheeled into the OR it went very smoothly & swiftly. His skill during the procedure was evident and reassuring. I called the office 5 days prior to procedure due to questions & concerns I had. I was able to leave a message for his nurse who did not return my call. Other than that I’m feeling relieved and grateful to have found Dr Burkert. Thank you NeuroSpine!"
"I had a pretty terrible experience seeing dr burkert. I was rushed through my first appointment, he wasn’t interested in answering questions. Completely ignored my symptoms. Told me cortisone injection was going to fix everything. It didn’t work, and I had to call them to find out he dropped me as a patient and referred me to another surgeon at another clinic. They did not give the referring clinic any information or records on me, which shows how carelessly I was tossed aside. Completely wasted my time and I’m still bed ridden."
"I went here for a second opinion and was not impressed. Dr. Gallo seemed to have her mind made up long before entering the room just based on a6+month dated MRI and recent x-rays I didn't even get to see for myself. My symptoms are more related to soft tissue and specific motions than bone so x-rays are nearly pointless, but they explained they were to look for signs if instability... sorry not sorry but a still image doesn't guarantee accurate diagnosis of things that occur when in motion. She didn't perform any meaningful diagnostics to challenge her own preconceptions while I was present and willing yo cooperate and she was dismissive when I tried to explain symptoms that didn't add up. They were dismissive of any input I had and didn't have any insights on options to improve my condition. I'm fairly confident they are acquainted with the original doctor, therefore not without bias in that regard either. Overall, I feel I got nothing of value whatsoever from this appointment and the more i reflect on it the more I'm annoyed that payment is still expected when nothing of value was actually provided to show for it. I was really hoping for a doctor well informed on new innovations and treatments but feel like I got another who's let their PHD and past acclaim deafen them to their patients concerns and become apathetic to learning new treatment options."
"This is an opinion of services provided for lumbar spinal decompression in 2021 by Dr Gallo. The primary goal may have been accomplished, however post op care in the days following was extremely lacking in my opinion. A dural leak occurred 36 hours after the operation, and it was eight hours after calling the surgery in daytime hours before a PA returned the call and instructed to remove the drain at home. Secondly, a stabilizer was placed between L3 L4. After some months, a variety of pains began occurring, but the reason was not determined until nearly two years later. The body was rejecting the implant, and scar tissue formed a tumor that encroached on the spinal cord. Outpatient procedure needs to be followed up with better care than Nuerospine provided."
