"Great School. My three grandsons have been going to McKenzie Montessori for the last couple of years. They come home each day wanting to share what they have learned. They show respect to other students and their teachers. Very good school. I would highly recommend it."
"All 3 of my boys attend McKenzie Montessori. I can honestly say that it was the best choice we ever made, putting them in there! When the pandemic started my older two (in kindergarten at the time), attended a public school & had to transition to online only. They had multiple hours of homework a night & could not sit still during the remote class sessions (not that I blame them). We were able to get them into McKenzie Montessori just 1 month later and they were able to attend in-person classes throughout the entire pandemic! The staff has always been great & my boys are now testing well above their grade levels in almost all areas! I saw another review saying the school doesn’t take safety serious and brushed off accidents. Not true at all- I have always been notified anytime an accident occurred & I have always felt it was handled appropriately. The teachers are always available to ask questions to or meet with. I highly recommend!"
"All 3 of my young kids go to this school. It’s super convenient to have different ages go to the same place. My 2 y/o is developing his speech, manners, and social skills nicely. My older kids are reading beyond their grade level, they excel in geography, and they are proficient in math now. The teachers are very effective and the results are clear."
"My son has been going here since he was 8 months old and is now turning 4. He has progressed through 4 different classes during this time. This school has taught him so much. He was potty trained by age 3. He has great table manners, great friends, social interaction, and has always been on a stable routine. They provide proper meals, snacks, and nap time. I highly recommend for any parent that needs more than a school- but a place that puts effort into making sure the child has hands-on interaction."
"Our daughter has been going to McKenzie Montessori since Nov 2020. She had been though a lot of transitions prior to that and since we were new to town during the pandemic with both parents working, we knew she needed an in-person option for school- so we were happy to find McKenzie Montessori had availability. They offer drop off as early as 7:30am and pick ups as late as 5:30pm which helps for the demanding schedules we have. They serve snacks and meals so we don't have to worry about packing lunches. We love the montessori model of learning- with the pandemic, it's been important that each child is challenged at the level they're on. She quickly made friends and has been enjoying the teachers and the school since she started. Her teachers have gone out of their way to make her feel important and have even sent her home with gifts! The area in which I see room for Improvement would be in communication. I'm not sure who to talk to about what and I don't get a lot of feedback about her learning progress. In contrast to her previous (pre)school experience- I don't get as much information as I used to about what she does day to day, there's just less communication and which can be frustrating. They do have a parents page on Facebook where they will post but not everyone uses Facebook. She seems happy and we've seen her applying her math and reading skills at home so we know she's been progressing. We will be keeping her in school through the summer and in the fall as well and would recommend McKenzie Montessori to friends."
