"This place was a dream when we started. Happy staff, clean place, things not broken. They had a slice of magic and then expanded. Sigh. They must have poured all the money into the new place. This center went downhill. The once cheery staff seemed to be hiding something. Toddler found a screw that popped off a crib when dropping off my infant. Staff was very apologetic and assured concerns had been raised with Mari but no action was being taken. It's "fun" to find you 1 year old watching "educational programming" on a tablet. Nevermind the guidelines by doctors or certification with the state of Oregon. Then a cute price hike. I get it investors want money, but the sheer lack of concern for raising prices ($12k a year) and bragging about the state of the art center... That my kids didn't go to. I am not saying price increases shouldn't happen, but the lack of actual improvements at the pioneer center to match a price increase was egregious. Sure market research may have supported this.. but you gave us the idea to price check. And there were multiple options with higher accreditations and better kept facilities at a similar price. Why pay more for a place with high turnover, no new equipment and no plans to actually improve."

"I have been using Mari's Little Lambs childcare for almost 6 years and couldn't be happier. The staff is wonderful, caring and very communicative. Drop off is a breeze because my kids are excited to be there which says a lot in itself. The director, Kayla, is always smiling and goes the extra mile to make you feel like family. And the owner, Mari, has done an amazing job really creating a community like environment. I would give them 10 stars if I could."

"Since day one we have loved Mari's Little Lambs and have had a wonderful experience with our son and daughter. Over the last 4 years we have built a relationship with both Mari and her staff that feels like family. Mari’s staff have always shown such care and love for our children and the other kids in their classrooms. They greet parents and child by name and go out of their way to make sure your child feels comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and always available for any questions or concerns I may have. They take their time to explain how the day went and any fun stories that may have happened during the day. This summer my son had the opportunity to be part of the preschool field trips. Mari would take his class to waterparks, the zoo, OMSI, and more! He absolutely loved this experience and so thankful for Mari’s extra effort to make the summertime special. Thank you Mari, Kayla, and all staff for taking such great care of our kids!"

"I enrolled my two children when my oldest was nearly 3 and my youngest not yet 2. As a Mother, finding a place that instantly filled me with peace of mind was priceless. I met multiple parents who had their older children there from infancy to Kindergarten and older, thrilled to bring their younger children into that same thriving environment. Mari and her staff had my boys full time until they started Kindergarten and then continued to provide before and after school care. When my third child was born, although it doesn't get easier going back to work, it certainly helped the transition knowing that Mari and her team were there with open arms to care for my baby girl. Mari sets very high standards hiring her amazing staff. I saw very little turnover with the families and the staff in the five years we were there. It was very bitter sweet when we moved to SW Portland and had to say goodbye. Although we still keep in touch. As a business woman and a Mother, Mari understands the value of providing unparalleled, exceptional care at a very affordable price!"
