"So happy Tokyo Sando is back!! I like the new location in the food cart pod because now there’s a place to sit down - it’s even covered so it’s an option rain or shine :) I’ve had most of the sandwiches at this point and love them all! The egg salad sandwich is delicious and the miso katsu sandwiches do not miss. Highly recommend a visit! You can skip the green tea because it is definitely overpriced, but it does pair well with the sandwiches. Also service is great, the woman taking orders is an absolute delight."
"Absolutely ridiculously good. The taste is out of this world. They moved to a pod where there is seating now. So now, it's the only place I will eat during my lunch breaks downtown."
"Hands down the best sandwich in Portland. I had the Chicken Katsu Sando pictured below. It was soo amazing. Two thumbs up. I would definitely recommend this to try."
"Tokyo Sando was scrumptious and flavorsome. We got and tried a few things. Got the egg Sando and it was delightful. I am a sucker for some good egg salad and theirs hits that spot lol. We also got the Naka sando, miso chicken katsu sando, and the miso pork katsu sando. All the sandos were crunchy and the meats juicy! Blended extremely well with the bread. The bread is soft and buttery. Not pictured is the chicken karaage. It was yummy, crunchy and was like popcorn chicken. I’m happy they moved and DIDN’t permanently close. I have more items I want to try, so I will be back. The hours and product are limited so go earlier than later. We went on a Saturday around noonish and it BUSY! The wait can seem long but it really isn’t. This place is popular and well worth it. Parking can be rough but manageable."
"The most delicious food I have ever had! Every time I have ever gone, I was always met with a warm wonderful smile and the most extremely friendly woman I have ever met! I am so thankful that I got the chance to enjoy them so many times before they decided to embark on this wonderful journey to Japan and I wish them nothing but the best! ❤️"
