"Food was stale. No milk. Felt bad for the guy so I bought stuff."
"Don't buy beer here, the prices way higher than other places, theres been two time where I went in there and the guy type the price in and charged me a dollar more but other time when they scanned the box in was less. But i called him out on it and he said the price went up.You can go to Tigard beer and wine get a 12 pack and one of those small bottles of fireball for the less then what the charging for 12 pack. Even 7-Eleven or plaid pantry has better prices then this place."
"Beer selection is pretty good, and it usually has everything I need last-minute for a party. Stop here if you forgot your housewarming gift."
"The Metzger Mart is always well stocked with drinks and munchies. Little frozen section with ice cream and surprisingly large wine selection. And then of course a good amount of random ‘stuff’ for the impulse buyers. Plenty of parking makes this a quick in and out."
"You know it's sad that racsism is clearly a factor for this owner. I have came several times totthis store & everytime this owner is rude, and watches me like I'm going to steal something. Just last week I and my wife stopped by,because we tend to stop by before entering the "CDC disspencary" next door. I purchased his over priced Hat and a shirt. Bad enough he has groceries that looks like they've been their since the late 90's,but it seems clear this store is for "Alcoholics" only. Today 7/7/18 around 7:30pm. I walk in with the hat and shirt I just bought from his store,I nodded my head thinking for once he might address me,and again nothing. So again I shop and look at his dusty old merchandise, and I notice not only did he speak to every white patron who walked in the door, but even knew them by name. I asked him for a paper towel, with sweat running down my face, and he asked me why? He's so cheap he hands me a small amount of tissue. And to think I thought leaving Alabama I'd see true diversity here, only to see Tigard, has a serious issue with race, and of all the people,it runs deep in the "Asian community". This is the second Asian owned buisnessbwere ive been treated this way. Iwon't be back, and clearly he,& all "Asians" in Tigard dont want the buisness of African Americans."
