"This corner fruit stand has veggies too! We got peaches, watermelon, baby cantaloupe, corn, green beans, apples, and nectarines... all for about $33. Prices might have been higher than other farm stands, but between inflation and the fact that this was farmers market quality- the price seemed fair. As always, food will be seasonal. FYI- there are two locations for Thompson Farms on Google maps, you want this one it is the location of the fruit stand. We accidentally clicked on the other one and it took us to the farm itself. So, the actual fruit stand is on the corner of Bohna Park Rd and SE 242nd Ave. The parking lot is gravel, there is parking on both sides of the fruit stand. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can ask about their eggs, but when we went they were out (most free range chickens produce less eggs in the fall and winter). Eggs were I think $7.50 per dozen."

"Small produce stand, local grown and awesome delicious. The ladies manning the stand were friendly, and the peaches and berries were fresh juicy and delicious. a great find after a Saturday road trip around Hood."

"Mr. Thompson is a great man, very dedicated to great and good produce, carefully growing fruits and vegetables at a high standard, chemicals and pesticides free at great prices. The stand sells out very fast during the day. Calling for updates, he leaves a message everyday with what is available, we call in before we go to find what is available and we're looking forward for great produce every time! The stand was improved over the years, and it may be room for more, but it's a good opportunity to find good food!"
