"This is where we seen them Gi-normous cabbage. Great place and in an easy location, good people working there, Not bad prices either. Not a bunch of people crowded in their either at one time. Fresh made food as well. Excellent cake and desserts."
"The Portland Russian Store is located at 151st and Powell. There is a Lucky Lion Dispensary right next door. Which I find very convenient, and anytime I go out to purchase my medibles, and Portland Russian Store is so close (right next door) and that combined with Oregon Lottery services being the most popular reason why it's so busy! It doesn't matter what time of the day you arrive, there will always be a wait for the video poker machines.Thankfully across the parking lot is another Lottery / deli for those who don't feel like waiting for a spot to open in video lottery, there is another deli adjacent from The Russian Store, that also has Oregon Lottery in it! Overall I give Portland Russian Store a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for convenience and location. I would give them a 5 star review had all the store fronts been open for business and will change my rating once all of them are open for business!"
"I wish I could say something nice about this store, especially the cashier. I have purchased the salted fish from the deli section, which happened to be bad and tasted old. Before purchasing, I kind of had some sort of feelings not to buy this product, and kept asking if the fish was fresh and good. The cashier told me that the fish is good and she even purchased it herself. More, she even compared to other product and said that the one i was intended to buy is better. Which basically was a lie. She just needed to sell the rest of the product ASAP. Even if the fish was good while fresh, this cashier should have known for how long it has been staying in the store, and for sure knew that the fish was not at least fresh. I have had several attempts to call and advise not to sell bad nor expired product to anyone, since after having just a bit of it, didn’t feel good, but haven’t had any luck - they simply don’t pick up the phone and the fax machine starts instead. This is not the way to do business, especially in American chain. I would give no stars at all, but there’s not an option. I will think about if I need to take this product to the lab just to teach this business/cashier the lesson. P.S. Even if you haven’t had bad experience at this store, pay attention to the products, lot of them could not only be expired, but can cost your health."
"Extremely rude customer service. When I politely asked a woman working at pharmacy section if they carried another brand of eye drops ( глазные капли , Левомицетин) she stared me in the face and said if I asked her anything again she will refuse the service to me . All because she had to remove an item from cash register that I had no intent on buying in the first place. I was appalled. NEVER have I ever experienced this type of rudeness coming from American Food chains . Not even talking about how half of their products are expired."
