"Rubinette is an amazing place to discover new produce — fruits and vegetables you've only read about on chefs' blogs, and things you've never seen before. Beautiful in-store displays include labels to tell you the produce origins. They really care about customers, too. I once emailed a question and got a personal phone call from the store manager. He went above and beyond in answering my question, but also in making sure I was happy with my purchase. If you've not been there before, look for the sign for Providore Fine Foods. Rubinette is inside, with other fabulous markets for local and important pantry goods, meat, seafood, cheese and pastry."
