Gallery Theater

"We moved to McMinnville four years ago and missed the Lakewood Theater in Lake Oswego. We had been season ticket holders there for 20 years. Our expectations for shows at the Gallery Theater were low but we were pleasantly surprised. The theater is quaint and very nice and the artists were very talented. We plan on seeing every show that is offered."

"What am AMAZING theater! Went to McMinnville for the Melt Down 2024 in February (yum grilled cheese!!!) and ended up staying for a showing of See How They Run. Man, what a great play and great cast this was, and I even thought that the lobby show, with the Northwest Nightingales, was great! A+++!"

"Was a pretty fun experience for Valentines Day. Theater was clean, staff was nice. Be prepared to pay $5 for special cup to use in theater, if you want anything other than water. The seating it a little tight."

"Gallery needs to grow regarding unconscious bias and anti-racist work. In the show's I have seen here I believe I have only seen one BIPOC cast member. I see the same white kids and adults over and over again cast in every show (seems like it's mostly just about who you're friends with, which is also not a great look for a community theater). I'm certain it is not simply that only white people are auditioning or qualified. And even if that were the case, that is a reflection of Gallery theater's lack of outreach to communities of color in our town. Please implement training for these important issues. Everyone deserves to see themselves represented in theater. Diversity makes us all better."

"Actually I would give them zero stars. We took our grand kids to a play there thinking it was going to be child friendly. No where in the write up did it say it wasnt child friendly. Puffs was definitely not a play for children. To bad they added the PG-13 for language days after we took our grandkids. We will never go back there again."
