"I was very disappointed with the food I received 2 nights ago. My husband and I placed a to go order for 2 beef wellingtons which were about 38.00 each. When I picked up the food and got home, I opened the container to find our two beef wellingtons way over done as you can see in the picture. This picture was taken before we microwaved them. I specifically ordered them medium rare when they asked how I would like them cooked. We were really looking forward to trying them as it was our first time having beef wellington. I was also really upset because the one time we ate there in person, we have seen other guests have the beef wellington that came with a side dish but when I opened the containers at home, it didn't come with any sides. My advise for the restaurant is to keep the in person dining experience and the to go experience consistent because we are paying for the same quality of food and service. We had a way more pleasant time eating in person a few months ago even though the wait time was long."
"Ordered the french toast and was disappointed in the quality of the bread I wasn’t able to cut through the crust of the bread with a knife because of how hard it was and the French toast was completely downed with a caramel sauce. Also, ordered the steak panini and don’t be fooled by the picture it was like biting through a thick stale rock hard sandwich leaving my gums completely scratched up not to mention the steak was as dry as jerky. This is a very overpriced “French” cafe for the quality of the food. Disappointed."
"We were so excited to have a local french restaurant, and this experience was so bad that we will not be back. While the food was okay and good, it was basic and included canned whip cream and refrigerated jam. It lacked the taste and use of in-house ingredients that make extraordinary places like Ciao Trattoria, Ethos, or Magnolia Cafe. Meanwhile, the poor service and extreme delays were what made this an overall poor experience. I can not recall experiencing something similar anywhere else. When we arrived (1:10 p.m.), we were seated at a table that was not fully prepared. At that time, the waitress proceeded to comment that she really wanted to go home and was planning to head out before we and another table arrived. After she approached with glasses of water, she again said that she wanted to go home and complained that it was past her time to head out. When we ordered coffee, she laughed and walked away with a huff. Within 5 minutes, she walked out the door. After that, it took a while to get our coffee and for someone to get our order. At least our second server seemed a little friendlier although focused on other things. This was just the beginning of the delays. We ordered a Monte Cristo, a Panini, and Croque Monsieur (sandwiches) along with a banana bread to share. It took over 20 minutes to get a cold banana bread and over 55 minutes to get our meal. During most of that time, there was only one other table waiting on their food, and the view into the kitchen showed the two staff slowly doing other things and possibly wasting time. They showed no sense of urgency. At no point did anyone approach us to apologize and only seemed worried when I asked to cancel the order and pay. We received food 5 minutes after that and were unimpressed. When I went to pay, the person at the counter seemed annoyed and dismissive. Our server tried to ask me about the food trying to be nice, but that did not balance the rest of the experience and the indifference from the rest of the team. Honestly, I am not sure if it was a bad day, they just have poor customer service and timing, the staff wanted to go home, or they had something against me and my family. My advice is, if you want a great brunch/lunch experience and great food, head to House of Pancakes, Cafe Magnolia, Ethos, Sage Port Grille, Hill's Restaurant, or the Busy Bee Diner. We are regulars at all these places due to their great service."
"Excellent French cuisine for the area. They are fairly new, but their offerings were very delicious! The Eggs Benedict and Crepes Au Saumon were incredible, as were the croissants! Highly Recommend! An Amboy A!"
"Our first time here: Eggs Benedict - perfectly poached eggs, hollandaise sauce was delicious (and a good consistency) . . . I'd say the Waldorf-Astoria would proudly serve this dish (and I WILL order it again) The French Toast - nothing more needs to be said other than it is incredible The Crepes Au Legumes - the spinach, mushroom, and cream cheese filling was a lil more salty than I'd prefer but still delicious and worth ordering again Now the overall: a restaurant in Kennewick with the feel of a modern café in a suburb of Paris. Delicious food, and some fantastic folks working in and out of the kitchen here. We WILL be back (looking forward to trying the dinner service)."
