"NASTY bartender!! Think her name is Lea Apparently bartender closed my tab out because of shift change. She could have at least asked if I needed anything first. I didn't even know the bill was in front of me. I was busy responding to an email about a death in the family! She pressures me to sign it NOW. I said you want me to sign it now? Fine, crossed out the tip, signed it, had last swallow of beer and left. On my way out I heard her mumble something about why I'm mad. Guess she didn't like not getting a tip because she refuses to serve me now. It's not the only place around to play pinball! Guess they don't want any of my $800 monthly bar expenditures Nasty!!!!"

"This bar reminds me of cheers. It is friendly, everyone feels like family, and its somewhere where friends meet. The bartenders take care of you and give the best service. Food comes fast and laughs are hard. This bar does a great job of making everyone feel as an equal no matter social standing. All men and women are sitting at a circle table. I am greatful this business is apart of my neighborhood."

"Even as a regular. And I hope they understand. . Smoke breaks are too long, bar is clean, still a bunch of coke heads in the bathroom tho.. food is Air fryer and deli only. Not impressive. Regulars rule, that's nice. I like a lot of them. I 86ed myself today though.. Girls.. if your reading this.. bro. I work at a strip club. You don't think I respect women? You have no idea the respect I have. I will never come back though. Not because of the girls, but because of the bartender not even taking a MOMENT to analyze. She just agreed. I refuse. "This place was first introduced to me when I was building houses, a not too fancy of a place yet they serve strong drinks and give ya that welcome feeling. Jake’s place is not about jake at all. It’s about giving Sellwood a place to kick it and enjoy conversations. The pool table works, well. The well spaced lottery machines speak of care, paid for boom box is welcomed and played loud n good for listening needs"
