"So many great things about this brunch spot! So for food, I got the fried chicken and grits which were delicious. And they were especially accommodating when I asked for a non alcoholic version of their peach bellini, which turned out to be one of the best mocktails I’ve had in a long time. As for the environment, they had a great dj playing. And I liked that for the booths they had little curtains you could pull for privacy if you wanted. Servers and staff were super friendly with quick service too. Wins for everything at Mermosa!"

"The food was good and everything we saw go by looked just as good. Was a little on the salty side but very tasty. Good place if you are not in a hurry though it was hard to hear each other because the music was so loud."

"I absolutely love this place!!! From happy hour to brunch on Sunday’s it’s absolutely perfect. It took me a long time to find a place that felt like a taste of home and an atmosphere and staff that always make me smile and feel so very welcomed. The food it AMAZING!!! Don’t even get me started on the chicken and waffles!!! As a southerner in the PNW it’s the taste of home I need. The happy hour tour is always a win and you can’t go wrong with any drink on the menu. Highly recommend!!!!"

"We decided to pop in for dinner based on a recent write-up in Eater. What we didn’t expect was to see their commitment to creating community. Over the course of our meal a small gathering grew to more than 30 — all BIPOC professionals networking with each other. The owner brought us tastes of wine and an incredible sample of the creamiest grits ever. We also enjoyed talking to her husband, who helps run the show. It’s nice to see such a lovely couple cultivate this space into such a welcoming atmosphere. The food is sophisticated yet comforting. We can’t wait to try brunch."
