Great Clips

"One woman and one man working this evening. The man was SO rude. Even told another customer that was waiting and next in line to “go sit over there. You are a black hole to me right now.” Flat out refused to look at our reference photos for what we wanted done with the cut today and insisted he just looked at the notes in file. Last cut was about a year ago and we wanted something different. We stated that fact and he was just condescending and still refused. This was a KIDS cut and he made kid feel so uncomfortable they just didn’t argue. Don’t go here. It’s not worth it. SUPER DISAPPOINTED. At least the woman was nice, she was even trying to apologize for her coworker. I feel bad for her having to work with him. Terrible service."

"I love getting my hair done at great clips but definitely make sure the person doing your hair listen to what you tell them how you want it done. My last trip to the Barger one was horrible experience, I'll never go back to the Barger one.. Lucky I'm just one who says it's just hair it'll grow back."

"This was the worst haircut we have ever gotten at Great Clips. The “stylist” spent about 10 minutes on his haircut. It was ragged with very obvious cut marks. I will never take my grandson there again. Definitely a “got what you paid for” haircut. I’ll pay more and, hopefully, get a better result."

"I went in yesterday for a hair cut, the first time in a many years. Normally I trim my own but I decided to have someone else do it. I’m not sure of the gentleman’s name who cut my hair. He was very friendly, but was maybe too distracted with talking. I had to stop him before he started cutting my hair because I hadn’t even told him what I wanted done yet. I asked to take about 8 inches off and just a straight across cut, no layers. He pulled all my hair to my back and cut a straight line and called it good. He maybe cut 4 inches off, which was about half of what I asked for. I pulled the front ends of my hair to the front and noticed they were not the same lengths and asked him about it. He again pulled all the hair to the back and said it was straight. Must not have understood what I meant. At this point I decided to just go pay and fix it myself at home. When I got home, my daughter noticed in the back this giant chunk that is about 2 inches shorter than the rest of my hair. Needless to say, I gave myself a whole new haircut and I am very thankful my hair was so long to begin with. I’ve called and asked for a refund and the manager was not in until tomorrow. But I think this particular person might need to be reevaluated for quality of cuts! The only reason I am changing this to a 3 star rather than a one is because the lady I spoke with this morning was very nice and apologetic and offered for me to come in so she could fix it. If I hadn’t done it myself already, I may have. I also realize that not all the stylists leave you with this quality of a cut and my kids have had theirs done in the past and it was just fine so I don’t want this to reflect upon the others who are doing a good, quality job!"
