"It was cold out, but we sat outside. They were out of several things and there was only a choice of 4 menu items. Once our food was delivered, we never saw a server again, not to check on the food, offer refills, anything. It certainly has been better before."

"Food is too expensive and really dull atmosphere. A burger with a side salad plus a beer will run you around $30. Strange to have QR codes in such a tiny space. No reason to stay and hang out, they don’t even have a TV. Would have been cool to watch the blazers or something at least. Bartender was nice but I wouldn’t recommend or say I’d go again. Edit on 03/08/24: I don’t know how to reply or if you’re able to so I’ll just reply here. I see since my review they’ve actually lowered prices by about 50 cents. The owner didn’t seem to read the entire review, as I stated I got a salad upgrade and not fries. The claim that’s the standard price in the area is a little misleading as Holmans, which can be seen from Ankeny, has a burger for $10 during happy hour and $13 any other time. Adding fries or a salad makes it $16. I also was aware of the TV upstairs, which when attempting to check out the space it was dark, cold and the TV was not on. Not sure why there isn’t just a small TV in the main dining area. I’m just not sure what this spot is going for. It seems to have an identity crisis if the weather isn’t nice enough to sit outside."

"Love this spot. Go here for brunch or dinner a couple times a month. Staff is awesome, food is great, drinks are great (both beer from Gorges, and cocktails). All around great spot. Lots of patio seating for nice days, some inside for cold ones. They just updated their menues too so lots of new stuff to try."

"Got the burger and it was huge and delicious. Not a big menu but all the food was great. They customize orders and everything is ordered through the app. Reasonably priced and love the outdoor seating."

"Initially, I didn't like ordering thru my phone im a bit old school. But it saved time and service was super fast. The bloody marys were great and the food was so good our table was silent. Yummy. Fully loved it."
