Chicken and Guns

"Chicken And Guns is no joke. I will def come back to this pod specifically for this chicken. The sauces are fire and the simplicity yet care put into the food is ever present. The chicken is an experience and tastes amazing, without the sauce. The "guns" are just broken, deep fried chunks of potato and they're delicious. Even the pickled onions were fire. Worth the trip over the bridge, for sure."

"Love poultry and this one of of the best I’ve had and a first try with Puruvian sauce which was spot on with flavour on our 1/2 chicken. Also had the wings and both sauces was good but like the Habenaro sauce the most. Potato was great as well with the crispy skin and sea salt."

"In the food cart capital of the US, there are plenty of options to choose from! Located within Cartopia in SE, Chicken and Guns has to be one of the best carts in that block. Specalizing in chicken and their unique take on fries, you won't be disappointed. With a limited menu of a quarter, half, or whole bird with wings and guns as options for your side... you really can't go wrong. We opted for the quarter bird and wings. The star of the show was definitely the chicken (both the quarter bird and the wings). They were perfectly cooked, juicy, and tender on the inside with a good crisp on the outside. The seasoning was spot-on, with just the right amount of smokiness and spice. The Guns were out of this world too. Simple potatoes that were so good and complimented the chicken perfectly. The sauces were amazing - wanted to just drink them (yes, they were that good). We took a seat at the firepit right in front of the cart and thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Highly recommend Chicken and Guns!!"

"Super amazing! The place looks so cool, however their chicken and potatoes are cooler, Lol! We ordered chicken wings, 12 counts! Oh, that’s a huge portion, we couldn’t finish and took the left over portion back in home. The wings are fried/ roasted or in between with a generous portion of seasoning and spices. It’s not greasy at all. The roasted smoky smell adds the flavor and makes it more palatable. The crispy fried/ roasted potatoes are worth dying for. These entire food was made fresh and hot. It came with four/ five different t types of house made sauces. Those are simply yum!! I can’t recommend enough. Whenever I’m back in Portland next, I am returning here."
