"I wish I could say I loved this place but I just don't. I've never been less excited by Ethiopian food and I'm worried my kids won't want to try it again elsewhere. Surprisingly bland, and the texture of the injera wasn't quite right, it absorbed too much too easily and went immediately too soggy to eat with properly."

"I tried Makedas at the Eugene Saturday market. They were a very popular and busy vendor. The food is well spiced and you can watch it being cooked in front of you. The family cooking is friendly too. Portions were generous and I left full after trying the beef tibs. It was great to try Ethiopian cuisine and look forward to trying their other dishes."
