"Does anyone even read reviews anymore. I don’t think so. But I digress. Wild pear does it again. We went for happy hour and dined outside. It was perchance, the happiest of hours. I had the shrimp lobster melt. My reason for living had the Jessica burger. My melt was very flavorful and the chips were crunchy and a nice pairing. The burger was unctuous and the melted bri really brought it home. For sides we had truffle fries and the bri cheese with French bread. Both apps were delicious but I would highly recommend the Bri as a side."
"I experienced eating great food here! Fresh, healthy meal choices that embrace a blend of American and Asian dishes with a modern touch. The atmosphere is awesome. Feels cozy, super clean and in a fun spot in downtown Salem. I feel that Wild Pear could really knock it out of the park for me with 5 stars if the service was a smidge better. Staff seems a bit untrained and lacks initiative when guests have arrived to dine in. I’ve dined in three times now and I’ll be back because the food is superb!"
"Had a nice lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place was busy but the wait wasn't too long and the service was friendly and efficient once we were seated. We started with the chai martini and a Manhattan. We ate the seafood chowder, Wild Pear salad, grilled cheese sandwich and butternut squash soup. All were very tasty. We finished with the delicious bread pudding."
"Great little cafe with some nice food. Good options for combinations which means you can try a few dishes. The coconut curry soup is delicious. The latte's were also good. Very friendly staff. Had a small wait til we were seated. This cafe is very popular."
