"Pig 'N Pancake is clearly, undoubtedly, a force of nature in the Portland breakfast and brunch scene. I visited again after many years, ordered chicken fried steak and was served the finest example of the dish I have ever seen. Absolutely wonderful. The staff knows their regulars, knows what kind of tea they like, its refreshing to see. Thanks again for a lovely breakfast!"
"My food, a supposed Philly Cheese Steak was not hot, but room temp. The sandwich was dry and though grilled veggies were supposed to be on it, I could not taste any peppers, mushrooms, onions. Upon inspection I basically had a roast beef sandwich on a half a sub roll noticing that the meat was just chopped up deli roast beef. My lunch mate ordered a triple meat sandwich which upon arrival had about an inch of turkey, one slice of roast beef and no ham. The waitress said in broken English that the cook could not add more meat because the sandwich was getting too big. She was still charged an additional $3.50 for the one folded slice of roast beef. My recommendation would be to stick with breakfast food."
"Great food and tasty pancakes, had the kielbasa skillet and Hawaiian pancakes were delicious. Recommend for a Sunday morning breakfast anyday."
"This restaurant has been around forever. My first encounter eating at a Pig 'N Pancake was at the beach. I had the gluten free pancakes and an omelet. They have the best fluffy browned pancakes I have ever had in my life. Coming back home I saw that we have this restaurant close to home! They are open for breakfast and lunch. 7:30-2:30pm. They offer tables, booths and counter seating. Just like an old fashion diner. The waitresses are nice and knowledgeable and quick with the water or coffee refills. The prices are good. And of course they have pigs in the window sills! I recommend this restaurant for a good old fashioned meal."
"Cute little spot with an obvious motif of pigs, they are everywhere. Tables full of folks having what taste like a home cooked meal. Our server was very friendly and when my Husband ordered she made a recommendation that would not only save him money but even got him more food. We ordered a Pancake plate, Strawberry Crepes, Kielbasa Plate. The only thing I didn’t particularly care for regarding my meal (Kielbasa Plate) involved the vegetables in my dish. The green pepper and onion were still pretty raw which didn’t taste bad but are more of a texture thing for me. The gluten free toast was delicious."
