"Absolutely delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine found in the heart of Southeast Portland! The service was incredible, the owner is very kind and accommodating. The food was so fresh and flavorful, when I bit into the first taco and closed my eyes, it was like I was sitting on the beach in Puerto Vallarta with a margarita in my hand! The atmosphere of the restaurant is super Mexican and super queer, which I love. I can't say enough about what a wonderful dining experience I had ! We'll definitely be coming back again soon with friends. Thank you so much for creating a restaurant that celebrates queerness and latinx culture. It was soul food for sure."

"Great vibe just walking up to this place. Gave me a feeling of many of the local spots in Southern California. Menu was vast and had a lot of vegetarian options which I was impressed with. Went with 4 of the meat tacos including the Barbacoa Jalisco which was probably my favorite. The home made chips with guac and salsa were also excellent to start off the meal. It does get a little expensive looking at 4+ tacos since they aren’t the largest but all in all great atmosphere on a warm day."

"I came to try this place because I've been looking for tacos de Guisado since I moved here. The food is outstanding, the service is great and quick. I ordered the Guisado sampler so I could try the different guisados. I ordered el pablano, cochinita, bistec con papá, mole, and cachete. The flavor is on point the food reminded me of eating back home in mexico. Of course I can't forget the horchata which is vegan. Come out and try this gem you won't regret it."
