"Hot Mess is THE burger destination in the Tri-Cities. The staples are amazing (highly recommend the Spicy Clucker and the PB&J fries) and their specials are to die for! The staff is super friendly with great music playing! They support tap-to-pay (and Google/Apple Pay) and have outdoor seating. "This is my first time eating there ever and I don't know why I haven't ate there before. I have no excuse for that behavior. So I asked what was best on the menu and he gave me the hot mess Burger explain they make their own buns make their own Burgers all of the mess. I ordered up some extra fry sauce and I got plenty of that. Which is very good. The burger had very good flavor to it and the bun was a little big for my liking but it still tasted very very good it's not like a bun you would get at any other place. The owner even went to go help somebody jump start their car that wasn't running that was close by. The hospitality and everything was such a good vibe. If you have not ate here you're on the fence about it I am telling you you need to give them a try. I do hundreds of reviews on things and places this is one of the best. Get the fries they don't taste like old grease and they're warm."

"Food was freshly made & service was good. The sauce on the burger was good, they grill onions (which I love, not many places do), the bun was thick & didn’t fall apart. However, the burger patty itself didn’t have much flavor at all, in my opinion. As for pricing, the burgers are $12-15 a piece & fries aren’t included. I thought the fries were super greasy, I couldn’t eat more than a few. Overall, I’d give a 4/5 stars."

"We drove all the way from Lakewood to try out their burgers and fries. They did not disappoint! The burgers are huge - the hubby and I split the Hot Mess Burger and the PB&J fries. The burger was served on a handmade bun which was awesome. They make their own sauces as well! The fries blew our minds. We hadn’t had that combination of flavors - Thai peanut sauce and RC cola bbq sauce! We actually went back the following day and enjoyed a chicken sandwich which was equally huge and the Elotes fries! The staff was amazing and the service spectacular. We would totally recommend Hot Mess Burgers and Fries! Update: because we didn’t get enough of this place the first time- we came back for a second visit! First and foremost - they are consistent in their flavors. The passion of this amazing team is displayed through the dedication to detail and to a consistent flavor profile. By making sauces, buns, and cheese in house they have set themselves apart from their competition. They have fans for life here. It must also be noted that not only is their dedication seen through the food they produce, but is also seen in their support for their fellow small businesses. It is a beautiful thing to see and experience!"
