"We waited over 40 minutes for our food. When everyone else was done with their meal, we went and asked if there was a problem. I was told as long as I am taking orders I can not stop and prepare food. I stood their in line until she stopped and completed our order. Or we would have waited longer!"
"I had been excited to try Moi Poke’s new brick and mortar. It had been a while but I always enjoyed their bowls at beer garden. When I googled to see if they were opened I was shocked at their rating. Like, are they feeding cat food?!? I read through them and for many reasons they did not deter me. And gosh I’m glad they didn’t! The staff were personable, the establishment was clean. A lively family was playing games and enjoying their meal. The menu wasn’t too hard to navigate! I love and hate all the options with poke bowls, but for a poke restaurant I figured it out fairly quickly. I threw on an order of lumpia for good measure. Everything came out super fast. The lumpia satisfied my craving and the poke bowl was glorious. Lots of fish, all the sauces everything was fresh and tasty. I will be back. On that note, what’s wrong with y’all? If everyone keeps gleefully trying to take down small businesses without giving them a chance to make things right, we are going end up with no locally owned restaurants left. Let’s support small businesses friends!"
"My girlfriend and I both ordered plates that cost $18 each, we even paid extra to get 1/2 rice and yakisoba. I’m not sure why we even bothered. I got the shrimp and teriyaki beef, the shrimp sauce was disgusting and the coconut flavor was so strong I couldn’t taste the shrimp at all. The beef was bland and overcooked. The meat was very tough and had no flavor. The Mac salad needs work on the flavor and a lot less pepper because that’s all we tasted. My girlfriend got the chicken and it was really dry and had a strange taste, almost like it had spoiled. The side of vegetables were the best thing about the plate but you only got 2 bites worth. Extremely disappointing for $40, at that point go to the neighboring burrito boy, or hell even 7/11. Don’t waste your money."
"The poke was just fine - fairly bland, but a decent serving size for the price. The seaweed salad and pineapple habanero sauce added good flavor. I’m giving three stars rather than two because I really appreciate the gluten free option, and I could tell they are gluten conscious in the kitchen. However, I did get some form of gastrointestinal illness after eating here (ate at 7:30 PM on January 2nd, 2023). Caution recommended."
