As an East Portland Creative Arts Market and Studio, Arte Soleil provides a space for aspiring and seasoned creatives, artisans, and artists to come together to create, learn, teach, and sell their work. The institution is committed to supporting local talent and fostering a sense of community in East Portland.
Founded by Kris, an art therapist, and Pete, a singer and songwriter, Arte Soleil offers a welcoming and inclusive space for individuals to explore their creativity and showcase their talents. With over 50 local artists selling a wide variety of items such as books, paintings, jewelry, and more, Arte Soleil is a hub for one-of-a-kind gifts and unique creations.
In addition to being a marketplace, Arte Soleil also hosts art therapy sessions for individuals and the community in the Portland metro area. Art therapy is a mental health therapeutic process that utilizes art-making and the creative process to enrich lives and promote healing.
