"The food is good that's why we always go back but, the restaurant itself is shabby and dirty. We purchase parking there for the basketball ball games all season because it's convenient. The owner/manager is very short and rude EVERYTIME! She obviously hates her job."

"Having gone to Empire many times, it remains a consistently positive buffet experience. The food is mostly really good, the pork ribs are new since I've been there and wound up on more than one of my plates. On the other side, their chicken nuggets have, during several visits, been bad, even when fresh from the kitchen and it might just be time to scrap them from the menu for the sake of those poor kids. You are seated, asked for your drink order, and then left completely alone for the remainder of your dinner. This is fine, because I don't think anyone expects to be waited on at a buffet."

"Good Chinese food here. We stopped by the last 45 minutes before closing and they made a few more dishes to accommodate us. Restrooms are clean, waitresses are friendly, lots of seats to fit a large group of people."

"Skip the Sushi it is prepared poorly, as in the rice is dry and not properly prepared sushi rice, as well as the wrong type of rice. the wasabi is a bad imposter of wasabi, and the ginger is root shaved and not pickled. The other food items range from good to fair. With the only great item being the mushroom dish, as it was flavorful and well prepared."

"Tried this place on a whim. It's was good. Had a wide variety of food to pick from. Definitely enjoyed the endless sushi. Just wished there was more of a selection of sushi but what they did have was good. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in Eugene."
