"I haven't been here since soft opening and so glad I came back to a more robust menu! I ordered both of their specials (a whole crab and duck congee) and had their shumai appetizers, chow fun, and green beans. All the food was immaculate! My favorite was the duck congee out of the bunch!"

"This was my first visit to Same Same in Santa Clara and I would absolutely recommend this stellar dining experience! It’s the cutest little spot, very sleek, very open air design. The Southeast Asian fusion food leaves nothing to be desired. They have a seasonal, rotating menu with many vegan options, and creative selections that promise to satisfy. Every bite is scrumptious and authentic. The Pork & Scallop Shumai is to die for. The service was amazing, even though the young server was working the dining room single-handed. He was incredibly polite and attentive in spite of having no backup. Take your patience with you, each dish is prepared to order, so this is definitely not a fast food experience. I guarantee you'll find it worth the wait! I will definitely be back again."

"Whoa. I was not expecting this place to be so nice. Ita tucked away in the Santa Clara shopping center. The inside has clearly been remodeled since Same Same moves in. It light and bright and very nice looking. The menu is very unique and everything we tried was excellent. The cauliflower wings appetizers smelled terrible (like cauliflower can) but it tasted so good I didn't care. The prices are also very affordable for the quality of food we were served. We paid $63 before tip for 3 full sized portions, two appetizers, and two beverages. I will definitely be back!"

"Same Same is a refreshing take on Asian cuisine. There’s lots of dishes from many different countries. I had the beef rendang and the flavors were great and the portion was generous. For an appetizer I recommend the calamari, they’re lightly breaded and delicious. The screamin kitty salad had very bold flavors it was hot and sour. It is good if you are an adventurous eater. We’re looking forward to coming back and trying all the other dishes."
