"Dim sum is excellent! We ordered 小笼包 (soup dumpling),糯米鸡 (lotus wrap chicken),XO肠粉 (rice noodle rolls)... couldn't stop eating those rolls. The cold dish is 麻辣双拼 (Szechuan beef shank and tendon combo), which I've had before and by far best flavor of any cold dish I ordered in restaurants outside of Beijing (ok, maybe San Francisco too but it's been a while). Can't go wrong with any style of salt & pepper deep fried dish, especially with garlic added, and we picked pork as our protein (蒜香椒盐猪排). Finally, 麻婆豆腐 (mapo tofu) is the dish I base all 川菜馆 (Szechuan cuisine) for their "authenticity" in flavor. This dish is delicious but weird. I did not expect to find jalapeños or pickled veggies in it. The flavor is on the better end of Americanized and I won't rule out ordering it again. I will absolutely return to try different dim sum dishes next time I'm in Eugene."
"I am here on a Sunday morning, so I don't know how busy this place can get. But my wife and I are really enjoying our first of many experiences here. The server might be an owner and had so much knowledge about the food. I love curry and stir-frys, but she talked me into the pork belly. This food is delicious and high quality. I recommend coming to this restaurant."
"Took the family here for dim sum as brunch. We were seated immediately. Nice quiet setting and plenty of parking spots in the parking lot. We ordered several dimsum dishes and hot tea. The tea charges are a bit outrageous and the dim sum dishes are spendy but we are in Eugene and for that reason, they can monopolize on the situation where good dim sums are hard to find. Flavor wise, it is actually very good and we enjoyed the variety that they offer. We will have to go back and try their lunch dishes next time."
"I have been wanting to go here forever, just not all by myself. A group invited me to go, so you betcha I went. First of all, I met these fine folks at the Asian American Pacific Islanders Heritage Celebration last Friday eve. They were sweet, engaging, kind, polite & welcoming. When I went to their actual restaurant tonight, I was met with the same postive attitudes from their workers. The place is cozy, quaint & beautifully decorated, very inviting. The food is on a whole higher level than anywhere I have been in Lane County. The amount of food they give you is larger than large. We 14 folks all ordered a bunch of different dishes & passed them all around family style & we still ended up taking a great deal home! I had a type of hot tea called Chrysanthemum & it wasn't sweet whatsoever, it was just flowers & water. It was heaven, just like the food was. The flavors here are NOT Americanized at all. I tried so many different dishes & I never sneezed once!! Those that follow me know how very impressive this is. It means there's no additives, chemicals, flavor enhancers & the like, being used in the food. We all asked for no MSG, some of us asked for Vegan, some of us asked for Gluten Free & every request was fulfilled without complaint. I asked for NO spicy at all, not even mild & I was so impressed at them actually listening to my request, that I wanted to scream in delight. Did I mention how huge the portions were? Yes, it bears mentioning again. The tastes, spices, flavors & snappy crisp freshness of all the veggies was exciting. The textures of all the food used in the exquisite dishes was truly something to be celebrated. The bright, appealing, appearance of each dish was a beauty to behold. The aromas, scents & smells of each dish was quite intoxicating & utterly, completely, mesmerizing! These were made by expert hands, with no negative surprise finds of any sort, in each dish. I am SO sad with myself for not coming here years ago, I have a TON of time to make up for, because I want to try SO many other items on the menu & cannot wait to come back. The photos don't do any of it justice. I didn't want to slow down the passing around of each dish by taking too many photos, but when I go back, I will take the very famous photos I am known for, so these pics are only a tease. I am wowed beyond any description at the entire dining experience here! Please, if you haven't been here yet, do go & you'll see what I am talking about & then you'll be hooked too."
"This place was great! Not just the average Chinese food place. We got the sample dim sum plate, spring rolls, Mongolian beef, vegetable lo mein and the honey walnut shrimp. Very big portions and everything was delicious! We will absolutely be back!"
