"I have gone to East Amazon in the past for a standard oil change on my 2012 Toyota Corolla and I guess they did an OK job. However, I wouldn't recommend using them if you happen to be a woman with little or no knowledge of auto repair. I had the same experience as Shoofy (who also posted a review on this site). I needed a transmission fluid drain done and the person I spoke with said that the transmission filter needed also to be changed and he was going to charge me over $500 for this service. That's money I can't really spare. I spoke to a Toyota technician and he told me that my model car doesn't even have a filter, it has a screen. Also that the work the Amazon tech was recommending wasn't necessary. Their pricing is more expensive than the average so I won't be returning to East Amazon Auto in the future."

Went in for a repair/part replacement on my civic, but they also happen to be a less expensive option for oil changes than your typical chain w/ an included inspection for leaks. Definitely feels like you're in good hands. Kinda feels like this is that holy grail you're looking for when you ask someone in town if they "know a good mechanic"."
