"This office gave me misleading statements on their prices, first telling me the exam would be $200, (as in the past), then tried to change it after doing the exam, and add 65% more! The secretary is rude, and is attempting to do some kind of fraudulent billing. The assistant made a mistake on what tooth was being x-rayed, even though I told them which tooth had pain. Granted, they have very modern equipment, but even with all their xrays and scans, they couldn't find a definite source of the pain. I told them it hurts when I floss at the one tooth, but they didn't do any flossing. They didn't do the cotton bite test either. Dr Bayat seemed vague and unsure what the problem was, and concluded by telling me there is no real problem. Yet, I've still had pain 2 months later. There is a problem somewhere... This office is not what is used to be when the previous owner worked there. Unlike some dental offices that give a discount to patients without insurance, Salem Endodontists charges more if you don't have insurance, and they seem confused about their billing, as I've never had insurance and they don't accept dental discount plans that other dentists do accept. I don't recommend this office."

The numbing injection was barely a pinch! Once I was numb, they made me as comfortable as possible and I almost fell asleep during the root canal. I was able to relax knowing Dr. Murata would tell me every step along the way. It was extremely reassuring! My procedure was done ahead of schedule and recovery was issue-free! I also want to give a sincere shout out to his Assistant, as she was equally caring and efficient throughout the process and clearly loves what she does!
