"Located in the Salishan marketplace is one of the best food trucks at the beach, Squatchsami. Squatchsami Food Truck voted “Best of the Beach,” which offers a focused menu of Oregon Coast comfort foods hosting Daily Fresh, Scratch-Made Tastiness & Sustainably Sourced Fish from Oregon Coast Waters. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try their famous clam chowder as they are so popular. People call ahead to place their orders before its sold out. I had the beer battered fresh Halibut fish with rosemary fries. *UPDATE I left a review last year but had to leave another one as I met the owner, Debbie, and tried a few new items. Including the best clam chowder in Oregon. The food is simply delicious and all fresh made to order. The service is always 5 star rating. Debbie, the owner, treated us to a complimentary piece of their homemade Tiramisu, which whichbmeled in your mouth. They have added a cozy indoor option if you wish to sit inside. Outside seating is available as well."

"The disarmingly hospitable woman taking our order went above and beyond. We had a fantastic meal and were well taken care of. We had the fish and chips with rosemary fries, the chicken and waffle, and clam chowder. The chowder is outstanding. We litterally got the last bowl before they sold out and closed for the day before 2PM. We had previously eaten, it was so delicious even on a full stomach. . Get it while it is available and before 2:00!"

"Highly recommend checking out this lovely food truck! Owner is so unbelievably sweet and welcoming! We got the fish and chips (halibut and upgraded to rosemary fries) and chowder! The best way to describe the batter on the fish is light and smooth! Every bite almost melts in your mouth. So many places are dripping in oil with every bite, but not their fish! It was so tasty! The chowder was very flavorful and super creamy! Can’t wait to go back and try out more goodies! A must try! Very reasonably priced as well which is a bonus! Highly recommended checking out this wonderful truck!"

"This place is just beyond. Incredible fish and chips (rosemary fries for the win!), the chowder is BOMB (some of the best I’ve had on the coast), and the salads were yummy as well. My family loves our seafood and we were drooling over Squatchsami. My dad said “this is the best fried fish I’ve ever had.” And they have such a fun option to sit indoors, or sit next door and grab a beer at Beachcrest brewery. Such kind people too. We will most definitely be back on our next trip to the coast!"

"Everything we ate was amazing... fish and chips (best fried fish I've ever had and the rosemary fries were delicious) chicken and waffles (with bacon butter!) and chowder. Plus a cute gift shop and we could even hear live music from inside the restaurant. I will go back here every time I'm in town."
