"We’ve been here many many times over the years but my last visit on February 20th 2024 will be my last ever. The prices have been steadily going up but it was ok because it seemed like we got quite a bit of food still and the quality has always been consistent (not great but never really bad). This time, however, I found out that they got take out boxes that hold roughly half the food. We were shocked that our $70 take out order couldn’t feed three adults. We got three entrées and a couple Thai iced tea. This felt like a shameful way to get more profits. No wonder there was nobody eating inside or waiting for to go orders. This place was our go to Thai restaurant. Oh well."

"I find Thai Orchid in Portland to be a pretty standard Thai restaurant. I have given them a couple of tries, most recently about a month ago when I ordered the pad thai, and while it was filling, I did not find it to be super tasty or anything special. However, the service was pretty nice and my order was ready when I came to pick it up."

"My experience at Thai Orchard was highly disappointing. Despite arriving on time, there were no other customers in the restaurant and yet the staff completely ignored me. To make matters worse, they couldn't even find my order, claiming that it hadn't been made. I had to wait an additional 15 minutes until it was finally ready. When I received my order, it wasn't even hot. I opened the box to find a sad sight - the drunken noodles and chicken basil carrots and broccoli were far from appetizing."

"We came in for dinner and I really liked this place. The chicken wings were crispy and we liked the sauce a lot. I really liked my Pad Thai and the Thai tea. We also liked watching the constant stream of hurried delivery drivers coming in to grab food? It was kind of unintentionally hilarious. Looked like 95% of the food sales are from pick up. I don’t blame them, the food is good! It was fun to watch. Dinner and a show."
