"This place is so good!!! We got the chicken burrito and steak burrito. They were big enough to split between the 3 of us. The taste of them both were top notch. Seriously excellent taste. Fresh handmade tortillas??? Yo, you’re trippin if you think this place is mid. Will definitely be coming back to try the habanero sauce. Tried the red and green and was blown away with the flavor for both. Highly recommend!!!"
"First time here. After reading some reviews, went with the habanero salsa… BOMB. Ordered Al Pastor and I swear it’s best off the street I’ve had in this town yet. Son ordered Shrimp and Asada. He said the shrimp were where it was at. Tortillas were all hand made. Salsa was fresh and while it was spicy, had a wonder flavor that was truly unexpected. Everything was so fresh even down to the radishes and limes!! The service was top notch. Helped me decide on what to try and even threw in something new on the house. The price is a bit more than your average taco truck @ $4 a taco on average, but the tacos were packed and honestly I could only eat half as many as my usual. Making it cost efficient. Get the habanero salsa. You will not regret it."
"I’ve only had this once, but thought they were great tacos albeit a little pricey, $3.50 each ($4 for some), tacos are a pretty good size though Good quality ingredients (tastes “fresh” for lack of a better word, lime actually had juice and not dry like some places), not too greasy (contrast this to taqueria Al paisano across the street, which is extremely greasy and uses cheap, fatty cuts of meat, but is just as good), and tortilla were tender Cabeza was flavorful and tender. Asada was good. I thought carnitas was slightly bland but decent. Would still try it again. Photo attached, I got the tacos without onions, btw Overall, glad I tried it and looking forward to trying more Bonus points: they gave me two stickers for free Update: I went back again to try the burrito. Also very good and it was huge. Lengua was tender and flavorful. Cabbage gives it good texture. Beans were not too mushy. Overall burrito did not feel too greasy, which was great Btw, they have three different flavor salsas: red (smoky flavor), green (bright w/ a little kick; my fave) and habanero (spicy but not crazy spicy, but not as sour as the green)"
"This place serves some of the cleanest, authentic Mexican food. Although it's located in a non-busy area of town, this is an underrated spot that is a must-visit. I got two tacos. One carne asada and one al pastor. Both sizes of the tacos were very generous. They layer each tortilla with a lot of meat, which gives each bite a perfect meat-tortilla ratio. If I had to give one highlight for the tacos, I would say it's the flavor of the al pastor. Usually, I am skeptical of pineapple additions on al pastor, but the pineapple here really elevated the flavor, giving it a nice sweet/savory factor. I also got some green and red sauce, which were both solid additions. I will be coming here more frequently as it's only a few minutes away from my house, and I look forward to trying their other menu items in the future. As much as I want to keep this truck a secret for myself, EL MAS CHINGON deserves more recognition!"
"I keep meaning to post this, as I have eaten here easily 6-7 times in November since I ‘discovered’ their truck. The tacos are AMAZING. I’m sure the other food is too, but I am stuck on their seasonal shrimp tacos with mashed avocado and mango salsa. The Al Pastor is also fantastic. All the other tacos (carnitas, asada, etc) are good but those 2 are my faves right now. They also make fresh masa tortillas for all their tacos. Not the store bought double tortilla you usually get (which are fine); but a fresh made single tortilla is why I really like their style of tacos. Also, all 3 salsa are very hot for most Americans. The green avocado salsa still has Serrano pepper in it. My parents were very surprised but they survived, after a few glasses of milk. Can’t wait to try a burrito, or maybe the Chingon bowl next. Call ahead if you’re in a hurry, usually takes 5-10 minutes even without a line for tacos. Edit: I have since tried both the Bowl and the Burrito. They are both amazing as well. The bowl is basically the burrito without a tortilla wrap. Both have delicious proper Rojo style rice and seasoned black beans. If I had to pick one, the burrito wins out; unless swimsuit season is coming up. The bowl is a lighter meal, but you can’t go wrong either way."
