American Dream Pizza Downtown

"Super friendly staff, excellent selection of $2 slices post-lunch (whaaaaaat???) and they absolutely knocked it out of the park with the music selection (Blink/Nirvana/Smashing Pumpkins before I could even get to the crust of my pizza). Will definitely be back next time I’m in town, nicely done!!"

"American nightmare. Lol Came in at 10:58am and got chewed out because their door was unlocked and I came in before 11am. Asked what the combos were and with out words had a menu tossed at me. They acted like they didn’t want people giving them business. If I wasn’t with a group I would have walked out. Ordered 2 over priced pizzas to go and went about my day. Also if you’re wondering they do NOT honor military with a discounts. I just won’t be back here ever again."

"We were in Corvallis looking for apartment's (for our soon to be freshman), and wanted to find a local pizza place. The staff is great, and we looked at the menu and order: Benny's Delight with Ground Beef, and Calzone (Pizza turn over supreme) at 4:36pm. We were called 5:27pm; almost one hour after ordering. The Benny's Delight served had pineapple, and no artichoke (maybe a honest mistake). The calzone had marinara sauce refrigerated cold, which I found odd to be with warm plate. Next time we will try the cheese pizza, since it what my son will likely be ordering."

"I have been dreaming of the day I'd get to eat one of these amazing pizza's since I graduated. This was my go-to spot for whatever occasion, back in the day when I lived in Corvallis. So I trekked my way down to this lil ol' college town just to grab a slice. And ended up with a whole pizza. I ordered a large pepperoni with half pineapple and half jalapenos, nothin' fancy. I dined in instead of taking out, and it was a Saturday evening so I figured I'd be waiting a while. I'm super glad I got a Rose Wine from Bold Leaf (by Two Towns Ciderhouse) to help alleviate my hunger. After 35 minutes, my pizza came out hot and ready for me to devour. I wish I could say it was as delish as I remembered, but alas I had to knock it down a star because it was waaayyyy overbaked. The outer crust was super crunchy, almost inedible. What wasn't overcooked was just as fabulous as I remembered it. Not overly greasy. I did find the addition of jalapenos to be very limited - they added way more pineapple than that. Easy fix. I just used a lot more crushed pepper flakes than I liked. Overall, I enjoyed my pizza. I was very happy with all the leftovers I walked out with. :)"
