"Partner purchased a sweater that we removed the tags from and put in the wash to clean it before wearing the first time. The sweater completely fell apart to threads in the wash--something that has never happened to any of our other clothes! We understood that removing the tags and washing were against the return policy for the store, but hoped that there would be some help regarding an obviously defective product. The manager was entirely unhelpful and literally pointed to the store policy and claimed there was nothing she could do. It seems that defective products are no exception--buyer beware!"
