Ken's Artisan Pizza

"Awesome authentic Sicilian style ‘za. Prices are hefty for pizza but portions are large (at least $17+ for a pie). Be prepared to wait at least an hour. Definitely worth trying for the experience, but I wouldn’t bother returning. The pizza could have been a bit less doughy and more flavorful. Overall a fun - pricey - experience. Good for special occasions. Parking is limited. Only street parking is available. There are multiple other restaurants and dessert options nearby in case the wait gets too long."

"TOP 3 PIZZA IN PORTLAND: Took 2 attempts but finally got into the highly renowned Ken’s Artisan Pizza. Please beware there is almost always a line and a wait. They do not accept reservations. Highly recommend showing up well before opening especially on a weekend. We showed up at 5:10pm on a Thursday with a party of 8 and had 1h 25min wait time. The pizza: Absolutely incredible pizza, fresh ingredients and toppings. Spectacularly wood fired crust and undercarriage. Minimal flop. Definitely on the thinner side. Good size pizza for one, can maybe feed 2 if low appetite. Tried the Kalamari as a bonus and it was very good as well. Service was speedy and we were all taken care of. The ambience is great inside as well. The only con for Ken’s Artisan Pizza is the long wait times. Overall, highly recommend this place."

"Fantastic. The pizza dough is apparently fermented for more than a day or so, up to 72 hours, and is incredibly fluffy on the inside and beautifully seared on the outside. Totally fresh and delicious ingredients. Definitely a must try in Portland. Meatballs are amazing but would have been better with less salt. Calamari was perfect. Squash starter was perfect. Highly recommended place. We had to wait about 1 hour on Saturday night for a spot at the bar because it was so busy. Worth it."
