"It’s a big brown skinned lady who works there she don’t love herself. If you’re browned skinned and pretty she will not assist you. The white cashier lady is more helpful than the rest. SMH this lady was all in my mouth once while I was on the phone laughing like something was funny and one time I almost peed on myself and she wouldn’t let me use the restroom because she said she didn’t feel like cleaning it or doing her job. I was pregnant and almost peed. It’s ok though the nice Mexican place down the street was more than happy to allow me to use the restroom. From now on going to the DG in the suburbs where they know how to treat human beings smh"

"This store is convenient for me but they never have enough cashiers. Line is always long. 1 cashier for a popular store is not going to cut it. Especially, during peak hours."

"Today's visit to Dollar General turned out horribly. The only reason that I'm giving it two stars is because of the nice lady that was in line in front of me and we chit chatted while we were waiting in line. But then as I was walking out the manager who I'm sorry I don't know her name but she asked me ma'am could I speak to you over here for a second. So I said yes mam and walked over there to where she was standing on the sidewalk. In front of other customers she proceeded to tell me that I was banned from the store and when I asked her why what did I do she said oh you know what you did I remember you I remember your vehicle you came in here wearing that wig and when I try to interject and tell her that I have never put a wig on in my whole life she just kept ranting at me about how I know what I did and that I was banned and that I was not to come back in there because they had a picture of me. So I asked her could I please see that picture and she told me no that they had already sent it to the police and that the police were watching for me to make sure that I did not go to into that store again. Now this is a store that my son and I shop at frequently. Had never had any problems before. So then again I tried to explain to her that mam I do not understand what you are talking about at all what did I supposedly do And she said oh you know what you did it was last summer. now this is where it gets very interesting because I was not even in Beaumont last summer. I was living in Austin my vehicle was in Austin. I did not come to Beaumont until winter. So it could not have possibly been me. When I got home my son saw that I was visibly upset about this encounter and so he got the receipt and called the number on it and the lady answered and I asked is this the lady that just Banned Me from the store and she said yes it is and he proceeded to tell her you shouldn't have upset my mother she wasnt here even last summer that wasn't her. And the lady still tried to argue a little bit she said we have a picture and I said well I just asked you if I could see that picture and you would not show it to me you said you had sent it off. Anyway I don't remember her name but she is the manager there that was on duty at 1:07 and 42 seconds on April 14th 2019. I ended the call by saying you just lost a very good customer because we shopped there frequently. And goodbye. And I think it is really funny how right after this incident that this popped up on my phone for me to give a review of my visit at Dollar General today. Thank you for letting me vent about this."

"dollar general is great when you don't have time to go to Wal-Mart and you sort of need a variety of things its like a mini department store that you can get in and out of quickly. They have clothes groceries toys school things household products just everything I love it"
