"Nice facilities, clean bathrooms and shower area. Two showers in the ladies locker room, one operational at the time of my visit. High levels of chlorine in pool. Eyes burned while doing water aerobics. Still an enjoyable experience."

"Absolutely love this pool! Great staff & lifeguards. My only complaint is that on more than one occassion the pool has been closed when I arrived for my reservation. Since you have to use your email to make a reservation, an email notification could easily be sent by the system cancelling it. Last time (Saturday) we showed up at 10am and the building was closed but the website was still showing reservations available. Not sure if the staff have any contol over this, but definitely a suggestion for whoever oversees the website."

"Awesome, just awesome. Started swimming here in October. Staff is super friendly, supportive and on their toes ensuring everyone has a safe, though and fun experience. Learn to Swim Classes are offered for all ages. (Oh it's delightful to watch the young one learn and amazing that adults, even seniors, are coached carefully to become swimmers.) Staff is constantly checking temp, cleanliness, and chemical levels of the pool. Shower facilities are very well maintained. Since starting here, I now visit pools in other states when I travel, and yet to find a pool and staff as good as this! I'm always left wanting to come home and get to the pool. Hours are M -F 8 am to 8 pm and Saturday's till 2 pm. As a resident of New Orleans, it's FREE! as are most of the programs through the New Orleans Recreation Dept. Count your blessings you live here!"
