Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Marshall

"Worst Marriott, I have ever stayed in! My advice is find another hotel. The place is dirty and in disrepair. I found it hard to believe that this was the highest priced Marriott in the area and that it was so run-down. They overcharged me for two nights and the manager blamed it on an IT issue and she acted like she was doing me a favor by refunding me for the two nights that I was overcharged. As an ambassador member of Bonvey my expectations were not met in any way."

"We stayed over night while traveling. Reserved a room via phone call while on the road; quick and easy. Checked in late, check in desk was polite & efficient. The room appeared to have been updated recently; newer fixtures and furniture. Clean, spacious for our needs on an overnight stay. Bathroom was clean & recently remodeled. Large shower with good water pressure and heat control. Plenty of towels. Not a huge fan of the liquid soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers on the shower wall, I feel like the liquid stuff wastes a lot of soap; but that’s probably a hotel fixture for the foreseeable future. Stuff smelled good & I felt clean afterwards. Single cup coffee maker with two uses (regular & decaf), a small mini-fridge, and a good sized TV. Breakfast in the morning was better than we expected; wife had cereal and eggs, I had eggs & waffles. Good coffee in the lobby in the morning. Check out was simple. For the price we feel like this was a great place to stop during our road trip. We are reward program members so we took the points over snack items. Overall, nice hotel for an overnight."

"NEVER STAY HERE! Had to change rooms 3 times! First room wouldn't lock! Second room had ants in the bed after I woke up feeling them bite me! Went down stairs to show him pics. He gave me another room that one was decent. No one said sorry or anything. Went to find a manager the next day. They said it wasn't one there. Called several times still no manager I could talk to. Last call they hung up. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! PICS OF THE ANTS OR PROOF!"

"Evening staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Late night staff I can’t say the same about, I called to the front desk about 9:45PM and asked for a 5AM wake up call I never received it. Aside from that I enjoyed my stay the room was very clean, the sheets and blankets smelled like they actually washed them and the breakfast was REALLY good and tasty."

"We were really hesitant to book this hotel after the reviews we read. We are glad we did! This hotel has all been updated. Very clean! Bathrooms are nice. We stayed in room 208 and it was clean with new beds and furniture! New carpet throughout the whole hotel and staff greeted us with a smile! The breakfast was exactly what you would expect. Waffles, eggs, some fresh fruit and oatmeal. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott Marshall! *side note- there is no pool available right now. It is out of service and appears to be under renovation."
