"I was in New Orleans for the first time for a business conference and decided to stay through the weekend. I'm a 6mo white belt and came with gi/no-gi clothes just in case. I found NOLA BJJ searching the Internet and super glad I found them. I called the number listed and coordinated with the owner/professor a super early Friday morning private (with Jon and gi) and dropped in on a Sunday morning no gi fundamentals class which were both really great. This school is very accommodating, the community is super friendly/hospitable, and the facility (Uptown; Magazine St.) was clean. If I am in the area again, I will be back."
"I emailed a few days prior to confirm the possibility to drop in for a class on my visit from Maryland, unfortunately the gym on Magazine St was not open on Thursday 2/22 for the listed 6am fundamentals class. I double checked the new schedule they had posted 3 days prior incase I was mistaken, I was not. I messaged the studio directly via IG. Message was read but I did not receive a response. See attached"
"Super welcoming gym. Walked In with my stuff and was allowed to train. Super great structure of the class as well. Learned a ton from the coaches here. People were super friendly and great training partners. Will definitely be back!"
"Dropped-in while I was visiting. Super friendly people, very welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch instructors. I loved every moment of it!! Highly recommend to check it out if you are in the area."
"Great gym with knowledgeable coaches and relaxed, friendly vibe. Was visiting NOLA and dropped in twice for the lunch class, had an awesome time. Two different coaches both showed really solid techniques that I've incorporated into my game. Sparring partners were solid and friendly, no injuries, no ego, just good jiu jitsu. Will be coming back next time I visit."
