"Great place to see a show for both visitors and locals. Parking is in a paid, fenced, secured and monitored lot, so you can enjoy your show in peace. There is nothing better than walking over the bridge during intermission to take a picture to commemorate your experience. There are so many great restaurants nearby to enjoy a meal before the show. It is the perfect date night setting or the perfect family outing for the Nutcracker or other family-friendly show."
"Mahalia Jackson Theater is a very nice venue in Louis Armstrong park. We find the theater is lovely and attracts a very widely diverse selection of entertainment. It is easy to access from anywhere in the city and the theater has ample parking. The seating is nice and the view is decent from anywhere in the huge building."
