"There are no words to explain how absolutely wonderful these loving people are!!! They went above and beyond for my baby, Oinky. They were so thorough in everything that they did for her. They answered all of my questions and were so patient and compassionate. They will forever be my heroes for making sure my baby stays well. Thank all of you so much!!!"
"Oh my gosh - LSU Large Animal Clinic was wonderful to our horse and our family in the midst of our horse Black’s life threatening illness. The Veterinarians, Vet Techs, and students treated Black and us with dignity and respect during a traumatic time when tough decisions had to be made quickly. Even afterwards, Follow up calls and questions have been answered with compassion and kindness. I can’t thank the team enough. We are so fortunate to have this wonderful facility in BR. Thank you again LSU Large Animal Clinic. Lauren Guttzeit"
"Accident prone goat has been here twice. Most recently she had a broken leg again. I really appreciate how the Vet teaching the students put a cast on her 3 different times bc he wasn't happy with the outcome and wanted the best for her. Everyone was understanding and explained the procedures and her aftercare with expertise."
"Ten star service, knowledgeable efficient staff, amazing doctors, sanitized well ventilated barn and reasonable price. Brought horse with slice through the neck. Local vet had treated for a week but recommended LSU to make certain it was healing properly. Vet tech was waiting in 100 degree heat to unload horse (a great comfort after I-10). Dr. Mitchell showed me the wound and procedure in great detail, they removed stitches, cleaned wound, installed a new drain system, stapled the wound, gave detailed instructions for care, sold me the appropriate medicine and loaded horse up in good order. Their medical knowledge and communication skills are fantastic. I’m waiting on the culture results to see if an antibiotic change is needed. The barn is sanitized and well ventilated. It felt 15 degrees cooler. No one enters without sanitizing their boots. A real person answers the phone after one quick recording. Lastly, the price was reasonable. I heard it was the best care in the state but was hesitant to go there because I’ve heard it was way over-priced. Not so."
"My horse injured himself late on a Friday night. Every person I interacted with was compassionate, knowledge, and efficient. My horse had the absolute best care possible, and I'm grateful for the professionalism and compassion shown by the all involved in my horse's care."
