"Difficult to call and talk to somebody or get confirmation of drive test appointment. If you are close by, suggest just going to the office and waiting until you can find somebody to speak with otherwise you're going to play phone tag. If you're not in a hurry, like I was, it won't be a problem. Took drive test with a retired Math teacher. He was accurate, professional and fair. I have 33 years driving experience and made plenty of mistakes, which were correctly noted. If your 16 year old daughter is failing the test (referring to the angry ranting mother who posted previously) rather than rant on here about how bad the evaluator is, perhaps spent that energy teaching and practicing to help the 16 year old to get better skills and knowledge. I'm personally quite impressed to find somebody still upholding standards and took my markdowns humbly and tried to store those reminders of how I can be a better driver. The gentleman who is doing the driving evaluations is an absolute gem for upholding standards (no doubt he did the same in his math class for 42 years) so that we all become better and safer drivers. If it were up to me, and your 16-year-old fails the driving test, I say the parent has to come in and retake the test also. That might help some of the unnecessary inaccurate criticisms which are attempting to lower the standards and instead putting that energy into where it needs to be. If the business side of taking appointments gets better, more convenient, this would be a five-star review. Suggest online appointments booking via Calendly or similar."
"Don’t even bother going here!!!!"
"The old man that gives the driving test is absolutely unprofessional. I would never recommend taking a course or test with them ever. I am absolutely disgusted with how he treated my daughter. She failed her first test. Now, I’m not saying the first time was incorrect but the guy was extremely rude. As soon as my daughter got in the car he made her extremely nervous. ONLY reason why I brought her there was because she took her driving course there and she really liked the instructors. I decided to reschedule the second test there again. She failed AGAIN because of a speed limit sign you can’t see. I went through the area with her after and I didn’t even see it. And the guy completely embarrassed her in front of other people there waiting saying “you would think she would’ve learned from last time”. So we asked for her papers to take her somewhere else and he got really mad and said “she’s not going to pass next time anyways”. I don’t even understand how this man is in business. I would not recommend this place at all. If I could give zero stars I would."
"Was told from the DPS that I didn’t need my learners permit to take my drivers test at 20 years old. Scheduled a appointment with him and he refused to let me take the test. Even through it isn’t required for a ADULT to have their learners permit first. In the state of Texas it isn’t required for someone over 18 to have a learners permit to take a drivers test. Just disappointed the lack of knowledge he has and also disappointed in missing a day of work and school, to be told I couldn’t take the drivers test."
"Failed the first test on a THURSDAY! Was told to come back in another two weeks at 8:30. We get here and guess what, he was scheduled for Tuesday! What a joke. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 2 WEEKS FOR A TEST WITH SOMEONE ELSE. A whole month."
