"Absolutely horrendous. Dr. Gillispie was the on call Obstetrician at Ochsner Kenner during my labor. I was taken to a room around 9:30 am , and Dr. Gillispie didn’t come by to check on me until that evening around 4:30pm. She didn’t examine me, she simply stood at the left side of my bed and introduced herself. I didn’t see her until 2:00 am the following morning, despite knowing that I had meconium in my water sac and that it was a probability that my son could aspirate the meconium. This was also after pushing for over an hour and 45 min, when she came in and finally checked me, and told me that I needed an emergency cesarian because my baby was not in position. During the emergency surgery, my son in fact did aspirate meconium and was rushed to the NICU directly from the operating room and stayed there for 6 days. He was intubated, fed through his umbilical cord, and oxygen levels were at life threatening levels. This doctor was the least professional during what is supposed to be an incredible time in a women’s life. I’m not sure if she treats her actual patients any better, she seems to have great reviews, but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. This doctor could not care any less for you, and makes her nurses do ALL of the hard work."

"I'm a bit over a year from my total hysterectomy, and I feel great. Dr. Gillispie-Bell did and fantastic job. Pre-op she was very informative and answered my list (literally lol) of questions and was very thorough. My uterus was huge! And I was told my incision was going to be pretty long, but surprisingly, she was able to get my uterus out and my incision (which healed soooo nice) stops barely above my belly button. All in all, my surgery went well, I was told it was about an hour, and Dr. Gillispie did an AMAZING job. I feel great, I'm doing great, oh, and her team was fantastic as well. 5 stars all around."

She is truly a master of her craft without comparison! Her guidance and recommendations have never steered wrong in the 6 years I have had the blessing of knowing her! Her staff compliments her professionalism very well as they are attentive, courteous and very professional!"

"Dr. Veronica Gillespie is a phenomenal physician. Her personality and smile is infectious, she is well educated and her work speaks volume. I was hesitant at first but she made me feel like a human being rather than just another patient. The professionalism of her staff/ office is everything. They keep in touch whether it be a phone call or messaging system. They really took care of everything to prepare me for surgery. Thank you all for such good beside manner."

"Very professional OBGYN, she’s on multiple boards and organizations that help her stay the best of the best. I like that she can identify with my needs and is a representation of my community. I am sad that she can no longer provide Pap smears because of her concentration on surgical needs but I am confident that her referrals are well qualified. I have an upcoming surgery with her and I feel supported in this next phase of my gynecological journey."
