"Here’s a list of things to consider when going to this office . I have been going to this office since I was 13 years old, and I’ve never seen the same doctor more than a few times. It took them seven years to diagnose my endometriosis , after I was told extreme cramping to the point of passing out was normal . I thank Dr . Kirby for being the only doctor who ever listened to me and took me seriously but unfortunately I had to transfer out of his care because he doesn’t deliver babies . All they ever want to do is prescribe you birth control and keep pushing the issue Most recent visit we waited almost two hours to be seen by the doctor for what would’ve been just a five minute appointment telling me what I already know . I understand he was busy in labor and delivery but the staff could have communicated that and told everyone and had us reschedule instead of waiting two hours to start doing so."

"The staff and Dr. Kirby are awesome! Very clean, understanding and took my female problems seriously. I know I'm in good hands when I'm there."

"This office was once the best in the area which is why I was a patient for 10 years. That being said, the last 4 years have been terrible. Here are just a few moments that have finally made me seek an office two hours away instead of continuing at this office: - Missed miscarriage(pregnancy #1) that they could have found out about had they checked for heartbeat during my 8 week "confirmation" - they weren't going to check anything other than bloodwork until the 16 week mark. - When having an ultrasound, at what should have been my 12th week of pregnancy(#1), to see if I would need a D&C(physical signs of loss started day before which brought me in) the nurse very coldly told me I would need to stop moving so much, despite having the physical loss that morning and telling them I was in pain. - During pregnancy #2 in 2020, 3 months after losing our first, they wouldn't allow me to video call anyone during ultrasounds so that I wouldn't feel so alone. While I understood no one being allowed in during 2020 - a simple phone call would have helped mentally especially with how rough things were in the beginning. - Attempting to schedule my yearly well woman's to have to wait 4 months then the week before the appointment them changing the doctor(who has since left) to turn around and call me 24 hours before the appointment to change the date and time. - Being accused of having diabetes TWICE by Angela... despite being checked annually at my PCP for everything, including diabetes. - Waiting 3+ hours to see the doctor while pregnant(#2). On great days I would only have to wait around 2 hours for my yearly appointments/non OB appointments. Emergencies happen, however when you have an office of 10 providers and only TWO (as of when I called in 11/2023) are doing the OB side - the wait gets longer and longer. - Despite being high risk they told me that I would have to wait for Dr. Smith, the only provider available for OB patients currently due to Sherman being booked, to approve me being his patient for my current pregnancy(#3). It took 3 days for them to finally let me know he had approved me by which time I had already found out my Progesterone levels were half what they should be, thanks to my PCP, and had an appointment with my new OB. The new OB fit me in last minute and I had an ultrasound, labs and saw the doctor in less than an hour and a half. I hope this office realizes they need to turn things around quickly. They've run off several good providers and things have been steadily going down hill as they continue to accept patients they can not provide properly for."

"Ridiculous the receptionist told me they don't accept christus insurance, when its in a christus hospital. This is after I waited over a month for an appointment. I liked my dr, but I'm obviously not going to pay out of pocket. I also wanted to add that I've had similar experiences with having to wait an hour past my scheduled time for appointments. Definitely be ready to wait!"

"Hello, I used Dr Smith for our first pregnancy and loved him. We wanted to use him again for our second pregnancy and had an unexpected changing life event happen. Something personal we didn’t with to discuss with anyone and the “scheduler” absolutely refused to help in any way shape or form. She proceeded to tell me that it’s “impossible to move or reschedule”. I was not asking for a specific time or specific date, I just needed a couple of weeks to handle the situation that I stated earlier. She didn’t let me talk or explain and needed up canceling all of our appointments. She was super unhelpful and very unprofessional I have never been talked to like that by a doctors office. Especially an office I held in such high regards after our last pregnancy."
