"The Grandstand is a jewel of a theater located upstairs at the Woman's Department Club off of Line. It is a venue for entertainers from many genres. You can still make rentals in the beautiful downstairs, but you owe it to yourself to attend a musical performance . The acoustics are amazing!"

"My wife and I traveled from California to Shreveport to see Marc Broussard last month. The venue was spectacular and had loads of history. Will the manager was very kind to us. We arrived very early and it was a very hot and humid day. He opened up the doors just a little bit early to let us in out of the heat. From the staff to the artists to the venue it was a spectacular event. They were all very kind to us and welcomed us as if we weren’t from California. We were able to get tickets the next night (Thanks Will) to see Dillon Carmichael and it was not a disappointment at all. I’m glad we changed our plans. This will be a destination in the future for us."

"This historical and smaller style venue was very nice and is now one of my favorites. It left a great impression on my girlfriend and I and we definitely want to come back. The owner or manager (I don’t remember) got me a marker for the band to sign my t shirt after they were done their set. The service was amazing. Hope to be back soon!"
