"I still don't know if I will be approved to live here, but the attention I received from Jennifer was the best, she adapted to my needs and my language in a very friendly way. thanks"
"Bad quality apartments. Maintenance takes forever and a day. There are cracks in the ceilings, electrical wiring is outdated and inadequate for devices. The pictures do not accurately depict how the apartments actually look. And if a company doesn't allow you to view an apartment before renting, red flag. The appliances are old and some don't properly work. Asked several times for a new dishwasher, never got it. Please consider your options."
"I will not be renewing my lease. The first red flag was we were told that all appliances were "brand new". That was a total lie. As soon we got the keys my husband and I wanted to cancel our lease that day. We were so disappointed. Our dishwasher didn't work (We put in so many work orders I stopped counting), and our refrigerator had a gross red gel-like consistency under the freezer shelf ("Brand new appliances" -_-)also, everything was OLD. To this day, we can not make big dishes because the burner for big pots on our stove is BROKEN. It gets worse... 4 months in we get a random letter saying that they are increasing our rent due to utility bills. So, my husband and I are like okay. We pay the rent increase. Crazily, we renewed our lease because we were so tired of moving, and the price, location, and size of our apartment were ideal. So we extend our lease. Now, I did a whoopsie and used the wrong account to pay for rent. I quickly tried to cancel the wrong payment but it already went through. I used the correct account to pay the new increased rent. I knew there was a fee coming but I was just going to add it to the next month because they don't allow you to pay outside certain days. Well to my surprise, I get a call from Jessica and she tells me I owe 75 dollars. I said " 75 dollars for an NSF fee?". She then told me it was a 25-dollar NSF fee and a 50-dollar late fee for the 25 dollars. I said "Okay" (I was going to pay it y'all, I really don't want any problems). She then says VOLUNTARILY "Well since you have never been late I can reverse the late fee". I said, "Okay! I can come tomorrow because I am at work now". She says "Fine". So I went the next day and paid the 25 dollars.... this happened in SEPTEMBER. In October I got a letter saying " I owe 50 dollars". I'm thinking it's a simple mistake and they forgot to remove the fee. I went to the office and told them what Jessica said and they said "Oh it's a mistake you will see this removed next month". I leave the office thinking everything is good. So it's November 30th, and I get a threatening letter left on my door about the GOSH DARN 50 dollars. First off there is so much I can complain about this place (my toilet is broken, there are cracks in my ceiling, the A/C has not been clean in so long, our electrical system is OUTDATED, Our gate is always broken) but the fact that they can't do something simple as removing a 50 fee they SAID they were going to reverse shows me they have no desire to do their job. To this date, my rent has always been current(They are charging me a late fee for not paying an NSF fee on time, which is crazy). You can ask about the two apartments I have been in. I have been such a good tenant my last apartment removed the early termination fee because I never gave them an issue. I have never been so dissatisfied with an leasing office. Please do not rent from Turtle Creek Apartments... they are so annoying!!!!"
"Leasing agent Melody has a rude attitude. You ask her valid questions and she gives you an attitude. They’re no help at all. You go in the office the maintenance people are lounging around sitting in the chairs doing nothing. I walk in the office they look at me like I’m intruding. Then they don’t even get up for you to sit down so you can speak with them. The apartment is fine haven’t really had any issues besides the attitude of the people working there."
"The gates are not working, so there goes your security. The buildings have mold on the outsides. Many residents complain about the living conditions and little to no help from the front office albeit I have been lucky enough to not have had any serious issues. I do have to fix things on my own because usually putting in a ticket to get minor things done mean they won’t get done. I as well as many residents opt to just doing our own maintenance and repairs unless it’s a major one. One resident has had their apartment flood several time from a unit above them. Some of the residents just empty their car trash in the parking lot so the parking lot looks bad. They even have issues stolen vehicles being left there since the parking lot gates are always open. It’s a good nice little place but it needs a lot of work and it’s just getting worse."
