"For the price you can’t beat it, you are responsible for your up keep like taking out your trash (which I don’t mind anyways), and I also haven’t had a roach in my room! The guys and girl here that I’ve seen working here are pretty chill people."
"The owners and his sons that run the office are sweet. && treat you like family. Good weekly rates. Only $60 a night. Rooms aren't that great but a good place if you need somewhere to stay last minute thats cheap"
"It's outdated from the outside, definitely needs a face lift. However the rooms are pretty nice, clean towels, sheets &, blankets. The beds and pillows are comfortable. There are plenty of power receptical's in the walls. Small refrigerator and microwave in most of the rooms. All rooms have flat screen TV except maybe 2. Cox Cable in every room. They have single and double bed rooms. They have smoking and non smoking rooms available. Most rooms have stand up showers. I've only been in 1 room that had a bath tub in it and I've stayed in almost every room but 3 rooms. All rooms have A/C and Heat in them. The staff here I find to be very informative and respectful. I've stayed in this motel over 30 times and will continue to make it my go to motel when needed. Prices are very reasonable also. Thank you to the staff of Deep South Motel. 06/05/2021"
"The motel is not a horrible place to stay compared to two of the others in the area i have also stayed. It is still out of date and could have more customer service at any point of the stay. I had a surprise for me when i went to sit on the bed...bed bugs of course, but this is a problem also severly at the Texas motel, and Labella. The bedding i stripped and tried to exchange it but i had no luck even speaking about the situation. I took pictures of the bugs and brought my bedding in. I wanted to pay for a week despite the issues but the couple or family over the motel told me no and stereotyped myself and my female friend. And i told them of the bed bugs and other issues they turned out to be even more hateful. My girl wasnt given the deposite back bc they said we needed to clean but the place was how we came into it."
