Elora Place Apartments

"Place always looks clean and secure, I pass by it every day to take pictures of the sunset by the bridge next to it. Have been trying to get a few pictures of the fountain that lights up at night but haven't been seeing it on lately. Looks like a very well kept up safe place to live. And less than a minute walk from a really beautiful spot to watch the sunrise or set."

"Let me start off saying the process beginning to end with Elora place has been terrible and even after my departure I’m continuing to have issues with them. At the start of my lease my apartment was not move in ready. We were in January and the “smart” central ac and heat did nothing. This issue persisted for three weeks and I could not even physically move in because the temperature was unsafe for my child. There was permanent marker written on the walls of the master bathroom which was so disappointing, and the washing machine can’t be ran without waking up the entire building. These things were indicators that Elora place would not be the place for me and this started on DAY ONE. I was never given mail keys for my apartment so the entire time January-may I had no access to my mail due to “rekeying” all the while the apartment continues to lease to new victims and provide them with what was not possible for me. Shortly after move in there was a leak under the sink causing the kitchen to flood.. and the domino effect of persistent issues followed.. appliances not working, microwave not working, the lock system not working for hours on end leaving my apartment open and unarmed. There was a ac leak and after doing investigating (pulling back the ac filter) I was able to see several filthy towels which was trying to contain a persistent drip of the AC unit. If the apartment did not know of this leak who put the towels there (keep pictures). The debris from this was black and filthy. Possible mold. (The towels are most likely there because maintenance never returned to clean). I won’t list every problem but there are a magnitude of issues since my first day into the apartment that were not resolved in the short time of January- MAY. Renters be mindful of this when looking for a new home… the apartment neighbors leave trash all over the building grounds, THEY WILL NOT PICK UP BEHIND THEIR PETS..maintenance will be inappropriate with their commentary (sexual harassment) and will spend more time harassing than actually fixing your issues. I ended up opting to vacate and terminate my lease and Elora place has gone as far as not responding to my new apartments attempts to confirm rental history making it even more complicated to move on from these crooks… don’t get cheated out of your money like I did. Update* per my lease the early termination fee is 1,268.00 however Elora place has me with a termination fee of $2,536.00…. I am so happy to have cut ties with this complex and I will be seeking a lawyer for what I have endured."

"I absolutely love my apartment! It’s newly renovated, modern, has beautiful colors, floors and amenities. The amenities on property are also very nice, especially the pool with the waterfall. Any time I need assistance, management is nice, friendly and eager to help! If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful apartment that looks brand new, I highly recommend Elora Place."

"HORRIBLE. I have been living in this complex since it was called Grand Point Apartments and in that administration it was pleasant to live. But then it became Elora Place and everything changed, the pond from having transparent waters became extremely dirty, and the dirty was not only that, the corridors, garbage all over the parking lot a real disaster. In the same way, the response time to repair any damage became very long, for example, I had the microwave damaged for two months. Do not even think about living here, you will regret it."
