"Sheree did an amazing job selling this property to me. While I haven’t signed my lease yet, Tapestry Bocage is the first complex to be so genuinely welcoming. Sheree is the Assistant Property Manager and let me tell you, she really did her job of selling this place to me. I hope to call Tapestry Bocage home soon."
"I have lived here for right at a year now. Is the complex perfect? No, definitely not. There are things that could be fixed and things that could probably be handled better here and there. But overall, what gives this place a 5 star review from me is the relentlessly hard working staff. I am treated with respect here. Staff is always working overtime in terms of making sure I am accommodated well and their effort truly shows. If I ever have any issues they are addressed immediately. If something is not addressed immediately they are very good about communicating that they are still actively working to fix said issue. I never feel any passive aggression from them about any issues I had no matter how large or small they are. Every concern is taken seriously. Onto the largest con I have had here: vehicle break-ins. I realize this is Baton Rouge and there is only so much to expect with regards to this, but up until about a month ago not much seemed to be done about the lack of security presence on the property. My first week of moving here, my firearm was stolen out of my vehicle. I forgot to lock the door so I guess that’s on me, however, I have seen and heard of other’s windows being shattered. There is a courtesy officer but what prompted me to write this review was that tonight was the first night I saw a security company (I believe Signal Security) patrolling. As I said earlier, this is why I give Tapestry a 5 stars because they are at least making an effort to do what they can to address an ongoing issue. Another thing that is unfortunate is how often the elevators seem to need maintenance. Truly, it is a very small gripe, but it is inconvenient when you live on the 4th floor. The only other option is to either walk to the other elevator across the building or take the stairwell. Again, it is a small gripe, but it is a gripe nonetheless. I would like to end on a positive note. Although I never use it, the pool is always well maintained and clean. The gym is adequate for what most would need in a home gym. Lobby bathrooms are always clean. The hallways and lobby always smell clean, and it’s the first thing I notice when I walk through it. Lastly, I’d like to say that I truly appreciate Sheree and Jay for being always going above and beyond for me throughout my time here. I really couldn’t ask for anyone better. If this complex is doing anything right, it is keeping those two on board."
"Stayed here for a year and a half and loved every minute of it. Sheree and Mayte are always there to help with anything you need, and you can depend on Jay for any apartment maintenance. They have all done a great job managing this property. The location is amazing, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and groceries nearby. It's central to most things, and being in a nice and quiet area makes it perfect for early to mid career professionals. They are also extremely dog-friendly and offer AT&T Fiber. Highly recommend staying here, it's one of the best apartment complexes in Baton Rouge."
"I loved this place. I rented a one-bedroom apartment on the third floor for my wife and me. I liked the apartment's size; it was not the smallest but neither the biggest if I remember well. All the apartment features, like the appliances, carpet, colors, etc., were in great condition. I had trouble with the dishwasher one day, but they replaced it immediately. The walls were pretty sound-proof, with the apartments on the side. You can still hear sound from the outside, but I have no complaints of my neighbors have made excessive noise. The complex was fairly new when I moved-in in 2017. When I left in 2021, the place was in the same great conditions. The parking lot was big enough for all the tenants. I never had issues finding a spot. The gym is small, but still, you could find it just for you at some times of the day. I used to play ping-pong almost every night when I arrived in the rec area. They have a nice pool table too. Almost every weekend, I grilled some rib-eye or beef fajita and watched games or movies in the grilling area. The staff was the best thing about the Tapestry Bocage. Jordan was there when I arrived, then Clay joined, and finally, Mayte arrived (not sure if in that order). We love Mayte; she is the best. Always kept the place the best of Baton Rouge. Mayte and Sheree also organized the best community parties: Halloween, Great Gatsby theme, Crawfish boil. She is the perfect combination of friendly / but always enforcing the building rules. Jay and Terrance are lifesavers; they helped me so often and kept the place like new. The vibe of this place is extraordinary. There were a diverse group of people living at Tapestry Bocage. At the parties, I saw university students, a wide range of people working in distinct fields, families with kids and pets, and seniors. I always had great conversations with all of them. The place is very safe; I never felt in danger or alone. I must confess that I lost my credit card in the parking lot, and people were kind enough to take it to the front desk. In summary, I recommend this place. I felt welcome and coming back home after work was the best part of my day. I moved-out for job reasons, and my only complaint is that they set the bar too high for the next places where I have to live."
"Pros: - Attentive team - High Quality Appliances, facilities (pool, hang out area with pool table, gym), etc. - Elevator - Valet Trash - Frequent community events and Food Trucks! Cons: - Depending on what side of the building you're on, parking can sometimes be a pain late at night I stayed here for a year before moving out of state for work- I wouldn't have left if I didn't need to. The complex is not only clean, but overall high quality. The entire team here from the office staff to the maintenance team is great and attentive. I can't overstate this- every other complex I've stayed at in the past has had inattentive and sometimes downright scummy landlords/management companies, but here I actually felt valued as a resident. Can't go wrong choosing Tapestry Bocage!"
